Hello and thanks for visiting my Etsy shop, Secret Window Mirrors! Here you will find a huge and exquisite collection of decorative wall mirrors in refinished, upcycled and original vintage and antique frames. I have just about any style you're looking for including ovals, victorian, baroque, modern gothic, deco, nouveau, wood and gesso, shabby chic, parisian, florentine and distressed. A lot of mirrors are small, affordable and perfect for apartments and mirror collections!
Whether you're looking for a nursery mirror, bathroom mirror, vanity mirror, mantle mirror or just need a little something to spruce up your decorating, you're sure to find it here in my mirror shop.

About the mirrors:
All of my mirror frames are vintage and antique. I find them by searching estate sales, auctions, thrift stores, flea markets and anywhere else they can be found. They are hand picked by me based on style, craftsmanship and beauty. I then decide whether to leave the frame in original condition or if it needs a little refinishing! I use a variety of finishes and painting techniques including colorful acrylic hand painting, latex hand painting, weathered and crackle finishes, metal leaf gilding and two toned color washes.
After the frame is ready, I hand cut a new piece of mirror glass to fit. The mirror glass is then securely attached to the frame and a cardboard backing is added. The finishing touch is a lovely piece of decorative paper glued on the back to cover up the cardboard. The mirrors are gorgeous both front and back!
Every mirror has some sort of hanging device to easily hang on your wall. Please see individual item descriptions for specific hanger type as these will vary.

Once you make the tough decision of which mirror or mirrors to purchase, your item will be securely and professionally packaged by myself with bubble wrap and recycled styrofoam peanuts. Each order is shipped with delivery confirmation and you will receive the tracking number via an Etsy email once your order ships. Please allow one to two weeks for delivery.
