Love this ring, simple and beautiful. The photographs were true to the reality and the description was accurate and forthcoming. The description was honest and did note a small scratch which is barely visible, and for me, only adds to the beauty. Shipping was fast and the seller was responsive. Fantastic item and great experience with the seller.

About

Vintage Glasses, fine jewelry and more from the Heartland

I've always loved collecting antiques, so being able to buy and sell wonderfully unique vintage and antiques seemed natural. My photography business, click! Photography, is my passion and it's great that I get to take all the photos for my stuff, too. I'm picky about what I buy, very honest and my photos tell you more about my items than any words ever could.

So stop by, have a cup of coffee and check it out! Maybe you'll find something that knocks off your socks. If not, send me a message telling me what you're looking for. Even if you think it's too small, too obscure or too specific, give me a try! No charge for sending me on a wild goose chase :)

Even as a little girl I loved vintage jewelry, dainty leather gloves, old glasses and anything neat I could find while visiting antique stores with my grandparents & parents. I still love antique shopping and my 12-year-old son enjoys it, too!

Welcome to Seeing Eye to Eye! Many items are from my personal collection of jewelry, vintage eyewear and antiques. I am passionate about providing excellent service to my clients. I worked in the optical industry for many years, so you can be confident that I closely inspect each pair of glasses and know what to look for. My jewelry is my heart, particularly the antique mourning pieces which I adore! I take pride in the quality and selection available in my store!

PAYMENT OPTIONS & LAYAWAY:
I accept secure credit card payments through Direct Checkout as well as PayPal.
If you would like to make installment payments (only purchases $100 or more), please let me know and we can arrange that. Likewise if you want to purchase an item but cannot do so for 2 weeks or less, I will happily hold an item for you. It's about working together and good karma! I just ask that you keep me informed if you are unable to make a payment or change your mind about purchasing an item which is being held for you.

Finally, I also love to trade with other Etsy sellers. I will only trade according to Etsy policies. Please message me if you are interested in a trade or partial trade for an item in your own Etsy store!

RETURNS:
If you wish to cancel your order for any reason, please notify me as soon as possible! Once an order has shipped, we will have to go through a return process rather than cancellation and simple refund.

If you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact me right away and I am happy to help you. I accept returns on a case-by-case basis. Items which have been modified, repaired or otherwise manipulated ARE NOT RETURNABLE. Returns are subject to 15% restocking fee which MAY be waived on a case-by-case basis. Return shipping cost is the buyer's responsibility. Returns packages MUST be insured for selling price and sent through a trackable service such as US Priority Mail.
Shipping
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE READ:
USPS First Class International shipping can be slow - 3 weeks or more for delivery. If you want your item more quickly, I will happily ship Priority Mail International and charge you actual shipping cost, which is usually about $20 to $50 USD total. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for understanding.

All items over $50 are insured for the selling price, and I assure you everything is packaged with love and extra padding to ensure your order arrives safely. If you are buying a gift, please let me know and I will include a box suitable for giving.

Packages shipped within the contiguous 48 United States will be shipped via First Class or Priority Mail, depending upon size, weight, transit times and cost. You will receive a shipping notification which includes tracking, when available. If I am not able to ship within 2 business days of purchase, I will notify you as soon as possible.
Refunds and Exchanges
Ask questions before you buy! Most questions buyers ask are actually answered in the item description so please read thoroughly! Thank you :)

REFUNDS - EXCHANGES - STORE CREDIT:
If you wish to return an item you purchased, please message me right away so we can discuss the issue. I am a reasonable person and will treat you the way I want to be treated!

Generally, returns will not be accepted and refunds will not be issued unless the item you receive is not in the condition depicted in my listing. This is particularly true for eyewear! I may offer STORE CREDIT on a case-by-case basis. Please note that while I describe and photograph all items thoroughly, these items are vintage/antique and I cannot guarantee or warranty them in any way. I realize there are exceptions to every rule so please do not hesitate to ask questions.

Items accepted on return are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Buyer must pay return shipping which includes insurance and tracking (within the United States please use Priority Mail).

EYEWEAR:
I do inspect glasses very carefully for signs of damage or fragility, and describe them as accurately as I can. Also bear in mind that the frames can be damaged by others when fitting new lenses, and of course should be carefully inspected by the optician at the time you order new lenses. I cannot be held responsible for any breakage caused by opticians, optical stores or others. If your optician is unwilling to make new lenses because he or she feels the frame is too fragile, please contact me to make amends. Read all listing notes with regard to eyewear. If a frame is not in good condition such that I believe they cannot take new lenses, that information is given. However, I cannot guarantee or warranty them in any way. Of course if you have additional questions or need more photos, I'm always happy to accommodate.

RINGS:
Ring sizes are given in description and price NEVER includes resizing. Be aware that the cost to resize a ring can be significant, depending upon how much larger it needs to be and the type of metal. Please show the listing photos and description to your jeweler and inquire about cost before purchasing. I am happy to hold/reserve the ring so you have time to get a quote for resizing.

ALL JEWELRY:
Please choose your JEWELER wisely! Find a reputable jeweler who is knowledgeable about antique and vintage pieces. Get references! Do not allow anyone to clean or repair your jewelry who doesn't know what they are doing. EVER. Many older pieces have been destroyed by even a reputable jeweler, so always get a clear explanation of what they intend to do. Many jewelers do not have the ability to restore antiques properly and the cost can be significant at times. Pieces in my store that have been repaired/restored have been handled only by my trusted jewelers who are expert goldsmiths trained in proper methods!

If you would like to use my personal jewelers in Deerfield, Wisconsin, please contact me for information and I am happy to facilitate. They offer expert repairs, resizing and custom work at very reasonable rates - far less expensive than any others I've encountered. They are the only jewelers I trust with the pieces that I sell as well as my own personal collection.
Additional policies and FAQs
As items are all vintage or antique, I make no guarantee or warranty on any purchase. If you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact me right away! Cost of adjusting or resizing glasses, jewelry, etc. and the individual providing those services is responsible for any damage to the item. This is particularly true of glasses and they should be carefully inspected again by your optician before agreeing to make new lenses.

Please be careful when choosing a JEWELER or OPTICIAN. Once the piece is in their hands, THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE for any damage. You may love your jeweler or optician, but it doesn't mean he or she knows how to handle antique and vintage items. TRUST ME ON THIS ONE! Do your homework, get references and referrals when choosing service providers.
