Announcement    Selah Vie Soapery passionately crafts small batches (at a time) Nature to Nurture Skincare including health & wellness products such as Elderberry Syrup from Natures best! Selah Vie LLC dba Selah Vie Soapery, 5th Quarter Soapworks, Little Selah and Seeds of Selah, and coming soon, Selah's Kitchen are all apart of our Family!

We are a woman owned, family operated small business in Wisconsin since July 3rd, 2013. This small business was a decision that embraced family first and committing a way to grow financially so that I could stay home and raise my special needs daughter who was born with a rare chromosomal deletion. It also empowered by oldest daughter who was brilliant at design work and helping me with so many areas of my business who suffered from chronic migraines and seizures. With great sadness and loss, she joined the heavens on April 13th, 2017. In part, this business continued as a dedication to her love and care for nature and gazing at the stars. She loved people and she loved giving and helping others.

Our Nature to Nurture Skincare(TM) is dedicated to using organic ingredients from mostly plants and botanicals. We do not use animal fats (except for our Oats & Honey soap we use honey and one of our balms that uses bee propolis). Our ingredients for all of our products are chosen from sustainable & ethically traded resources, organic or wild crafted, local farms when available and food grade oils & butters. Some products use preservatives or emulsifiers. You can rest in knowing that when we do, they are plant based as well! Safe skincare protects your skin and is also vital to putting your wellness as a priority.

No sulphates, phthalates or parabens. No Soy. No petroleum or toxic chemical ingredients. Colorants when used are from herbs, clays or approved cosmetic micas. Percentages to add colors are always less than 1% of total ingredients. Essential Oils are only used in stay on skin product lines. Soap being a wash off product, we use mostly essential oils, but occasionally a very small percentage of phthalate free fragrance oil may be used to achieve scents not supported in essential oils or are too costly to use. Our labels will always identify where our scents come from.

Our promise to you.
Uncompromising Ingredients.
Uncompromising Quality.
Safe. Pure. Balanced
for skincare and your health.

Formulating and creating organic skincare products from scratch is very important to us; to be fluent in the language of skincare, how our skin 'works', understanding the complexities of ingredients and the scientific truth behind them so that they can be shared with you.

Our packaging has been evolving to use as less plastic as possible. Sometimes difficult and not feasible. But we do our best regardless in recycling, reusing, and upcycling all that we can including boxes and packing materials we receive. Please join us in using less waste products as much as possible. Eco-friendly. Earth friendly.

As the owner of Selah Vie, I am continuously learning. I'm enrolled to be certified as an aromatherapist and in herbal studies. I look forward to expanding this knowledge in our product line and with you to live healthier, better lives.

One last very important message. We love to help where we can. A percent of our sales goes to do just that. Our motto is: When we give, you give. Hope Grows! Be a difference maker by helping change the lives of others by giving them hope through your purchases at Selah Vie!

We are a member of: Something Special from Wisconsin, Handcrafted Soap Guild, Indie Business Network, Truth in Labeling and the first and only soapmaker in Wisconsin to be licensed by the University of Wisconsin-Madison to produce products using their logos and crest.

Hope Grows. Hope Gives as Selah Vie's Mission

In 1994, my youngest daughter was born with a rare Chromosome deletion. As a mom, I found myself in the midst of needing the flexibility to work less hours away from home. Eventually this led me to branding and developing Selah Vie Soapery July 2013. What started out as just making handcrafted soap suddenly became a journey into learning more about health and wellness which included studies in essential oils and herbs. Because Family is very important is me, providing the best from nature to nurture our lives became a top priority. My hope is to help not only ourselves but others to become the best version of who we were meant to be. That mission is heartfelt here at Selah Vie as we are committed to give from our sales and products made to give to special causes for those in need. That is the gift of hope. Hope Grows. Hope Gives. When we give, you give.
