Really is quite pretty, figured like tiger maple, with that shimmer, but with a lightness like pine. It’s shockingly light, beautifully sanded and finished. Looks like a solid piece of cottonwood, rather a difficult thing to find. I was really pleased to find the seller also in Albuquerque, and the package arrived with lightning speed, I believe two days after I ordered it. We are preparing to move to North Carolina, and I wanted to take a piece of home with us. This fit the bill perfectly, for an easy to live with price and timeless quality. Thanks! We think it’ll be perfect for Bao buns.

I'd purchased this mini rolling pin to make proper dumpling wrappers for a family member's birthday. This worked perfectly, and for the first time, the dumplings I made were fantastic. I've used it since for pita bread, and plan to make more dumplings soon, as I know the results will be fantastic thanks to this tool. (And it's beautiful too, which is nice!)
