SelenaEon's Shop Announcement

I am unfortunately no longer able to accept custom orders. I miss the joy of making new things for you, but this is how it has to be for now. I have a much larger selection of ready-made items available beyond on here, so if you've seen something you love I made on flickr or elsewhere on the internet, do feel free to let me know as I may have something similar, or even that item (gently used samples runway/photoshoot) and I can list it for you here on Etsy.

SelenaEon's Shop Policies

Welcome

I began sewing in early childhood and made my own clothing from commercial patterns at age 13. I began drafting my own patterns and designing clothing in 2000. EON was born in 2006 as a one-of-a-kind and limited run line for eco-conscious youthful iconoclastic women who are internet-savvy and globally conscious. The EON woman is brave, outgoing and unique while remaining an active part of the local and global community. EON is constantly reborn and inspired by the internal organs as well as the functional joints, curves and hollows of our visible anatomy. I strive to use organic and eco-friendly fabrics in reverence for our earth as well as reducing waste by the inclusion of vintage and recycled materials. EON features angular lines, contrast details, unique construction methods, hidden functional pockets, hand warmer sleeves, braided cording, pieced designs and hand embroidery. EON is dichotomous, modern and ancient, inspired by nature’s future and the past creations of woman. EON products are original takes on classic designs intended to bring the wearer apart from the crowd.

Everything I sell is from my personal closet-- new or gently used by me. I strive towards professional details and understand what is needed to make an item last over time.

I am happy to discuss custom orders, but please understand that many items are one of a kind and the exact same materials cannot be obtained for a precise copy. I can usually make a "variation" for you-- uniquely yours, but based on what you love from my shop or sold items. I love to use "found" materials in your custom orders-- especially textiles you have personal history with (clothing or otherwise).

Payment

Please pay for your purchase within 7 days. Paypal is accepted. I can also accept personal checks and money orders by mail if they are postmarked within 7 days of the purchase. You'll need to let me know you would like to mail payment and I'll send you my address. I may hold personal checks until they clear if I have never done business with you before.

Shipping

I SHIP TO YOUR PAYPAL CONFIRMED ADDRESS UNLESS INFORMED OTHERWISE IN A SEPARATE EMAIL OR CONVERSATION. I SIMPLY CANNOT CROSS CHECK THE ETSY AND PAYPAL ADDRESSES EVERY TIME I SHIP. If you email me, I will be extra careful to be sure that I send to the right address. If you do NOT, I will ship to your paypal address. AGAIN: If your address is not accurate in Paypal, I will not know unless you notify me by email. My mind reading skills are nonexistent.

I like to use recycled materials for packaging whenever possible. I'm not too awesome with the gift-wrap, but I can gift wrap moderately well upon request. I usually use Priority Mail shipping in the USA. I happily combine shipping costs, do let me know if you would like this and I can give you the combined shipping costs as it is likely to cost less than you would guess from the shop shipment prices. I can do a flat rate Priority Box for $11.

I ship ready-made items ASAP after your purchase. You have delivery confirmation on the shipment but NOT insurance. I am happy to provide insured shipping, just let me know and I'll let you know how much

International shipping is by Air mail (no tracking) or Global Priority Mail (with tracking). I can ship insured, but it is usually MUCH more expensive-- ask me for a quote.

Refunds and Exchanges

Refunds and exchanges are accepted on unaltered, unworn (try-on is OK) ready-made items from my store. Any items obviously worn, altered, stained (includes deodorant stains) or odiferous may not qualify for a refund.

Here's how:
1) let me know the item didn't work out for you within 1 week of receiving it in the mail 2) send it back to me the following week-- I will allow time for the mail 3) I will refund your original purchase price. I cannot refund shipping costs. If you would prefer an exchange, I will happily ship your new item with free shipping once I receive the original purchase.

Custom order refunds: I cannot issue refunds on custom orders but I will do free minor adjustments at my discretion. Let me know what isn't perfect about your custom order and I will determine if it is likely to into the minor adjustment category. You will need to pay for shipping both ways. I really want you to love your custom order-- so if there is anything about it that gives you pause, I ask that you give me the chance to make it right!

Additional Policies and FAQs

Custom orders-- once we "convo" or alchemy the perfect item for you, I will make a custom listing for you. I often need measurements for custom orders, especially in plus sizes as figures vary widely. Once I have your order purchased, paid for and any required measurements, I will start working!

Timing: Usually it takes me 1-2 weeks to complete a custom order. If it will likely take longer, I will let you know ahead of time.

Orders over $150-- I can take 50% non-refundable down payment with the rest upon completion--with photos sent to you once the item is ready. I require full payment before shipping the item.
