Love these wrist warmers. Perfect for cycling. Also bought a pair for my mother who has dementia & it is difficult to put her hand in something with a thumb hole. So toasty warm & gorgeous!!!!

I'm in love with with scale design of these wrist warmers! The fit is snug enough I know they won't be sliding off but with enough wiggle room my hands don't feel smothered. The yarn is comfy and breathable as well without sweaty palms. The ombre ocean colors are a nice summery reminder for cold weather and I can't wait to start wearing them once the season starts turning chilly.

About

Selkie's Crochet - my adventure!

I've always been making little crafty things since I was a young child - little knitted or sewn items; or people and creatures made from sea shells and other 'found' objects.

I am a real outdoorsy person and am happiest when I am down on the local beaches - that is my favourite place to go for 'me-time' and I find it so relaxing but inspiring at the same time.

I get a lot of inspiration from nature and my surroundings here in County Kerry, Ireland - which I try to reflect in the items you'll find listed in my shop .... whether it's a beach bag that was actually made on a beach or a pretty shell edging to a pair of wrist warmers.

I'm so lucky to have been able to have come back home - I live here with my husband and our four cats, rescued greyhound and three chickens :)

I opened my Etsy shop in July 2010 and am constantly amazed and speechless about how much of a success it has been - I only started to crochet in December 2009 so I know I have a long way to go but once I started to crochet it just felt 'right' and I haven't looked back since.
