Announcement   Why Setters on Point? We have two setters who obsessively point at anything that flies, and some things that don't. Also, to set a quilt block on point means to rotate it so it's like a diamond, so the point is at the top, bottom, right and left side. I love our setters, and I love quilting. Hence, Setters on Point.

Hello! Thank you for looking at my Etsy shop, Setters on Point Designs. I have been quilting since 1997 and love finding new uses for fabric. I sew or craft just about every day, in addition to holding a full time job, as well as being a loving wife and waiting adoptive mother. We own two dogs (setters, hence the name of the shop) who stay away from my work area. I have always been very interested in the tradition of crafting, as it is typically women's work that is considered craft, and how it has influenced our culture in the United States. I also enjoy reading, hiking with my husband to see the lovely vistas that our home state of California has to offer, as well as local events in the great Bay Area.

I accept PayPal and thanks to Square.com, I can also accept credit cards directly over the phone. Please email me if you are interested in this payment type.
Shipping
SHIPPING COSTS: Buyer pays all shipping related costs and expenses.

SHIPPING MODE: USPS First Class, Priority, or Flat Rate.

SHIPS within 3 days from date payment is received.

INSURANCE: All items shipped within the U.S. are insured. In some instances, I also send via Signature Required in order to better protect the buyer. If an insured item arrives damaged, Buyer is responsible for retaining the packaging and the damaged item for insurance purposes. I will provide the Buyer with the information (tracking number, proof of cost, etc.), and Buyer will take the damaged item and packaging to the postal department and file the damage claim so that reimbursement can be forwarded to me. No refunds for damaged items will be made to the Buyer until the Buyer completes his/her part of the obligation in assisting to file the insurance claim.

ADDRESS: The item will be shipped to the address as shown on Paypal. Be sure your Etsy and Paypal addresses match. Remember that it is the buyer's responsibility to provide the correct shipping address.

SHIPPING DAMAGE/LOSS: I insure all items against loss and damage if shipped within the U.S. In some cases, I also ship with Signature Confirmation. In the event an item is damaged during shipment, and buyer wishes to make a claim, the item must be returned to me within 3 business days. Buyer will pay all shipping related costs in returning the item to me. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: Currently, I do not ship internationally. I hope to do so soon.

Refunds and Exchanges
IF IT'S MY FAULT:
I carefully examine every item at the time I list it, and again at the time I package it. I fully disclose visible flaws. Should I mistakenly overlook a flaw in the item's description, buyer may return the item to me for examination and determination of refund and shipping fees. "Flaws and Imperfections" do not include shipping related damage.

IF IT'S NOT MY FAULT:
I will consider an exchange for an item of equal or greater value. If buyer chooses an item of higher price, buyer pays the difference. If the item has been damaged or altered in any way (whether in shipping or by buyer), no return/exchange will be considered. For items returned for exchange or for a "just because reason", I will not refund shipping costs for initial shipment, return shipment, or shipment for exchange.

RECEIPT OF RETURN OF ITEMS: I must receive returned items within five (5) business days from the date buyer receives it. I must receive all returned items in the same condition they were in when I shipped them to buyer.

SHIPPING EXPENSES: I will not refund shipping expenses if the item is returned for some reason that is not my fault. I will refund shipping expenses if the item is returned due to a reason that is my fault.

If buyer wishes to return an item for any reason (whether my fault or not), I must be notified at the time buyer receives the item, and I must receive it back within 5 business days, in the same condition as when I sent it to buyer. This includes any shipping damage that may occur in shipping from me to buyer, and from buyer back to me. I will make no exceptions to my refund policy.
