I am waiting on the materials to make this bag but I read the instructions, materials needed, and US letter pattern.... written instructions and video not clear on length/size/quantity of zipper, clasp. The video is more clear than the instructions on how to put it all together but you have to make educated guesses here and there. I have made bags before so I think I'll be able to figure it out otherwise I would have rated this pattern a two. FYI watch the video first as it talks about using interfacing and bias tape (it does not tell you how much you will need in total) that is not stated in materials needed. Pattern does not address the strap or suggest type of fabrics to use to obtain that ideal shape.

The pattern already includes a detailed materials list with measurements, cutting instructions, written steps, and a video tutorial to guide the assembly process. Many customers have successfully completed this bag using the provided pattern and have found the instructions clear and helpful. I understand that some details may require a little more sewing experience. However, this is a sewing pattern intended to guide you through making the bag, rather than a beginner sewing course. I was about frustrated with the pattern. the layout of the written tutorial was quite crammed together and was difficult to work out. a lot of the photos were screenshots of the video tutorial which itself also was not clear - sometimes hands and such covered the pieces and it wasn't clearly shown, and other times there was no clear xplanation of where to stitch. Indie still manage to make the bag though.

The tutorial already has detailed voice-over instructions from the beginning to the end of the project, and it's available in several languages. I'm sorry, but I don't quite understand what you mean.
