Sewing Cute Fabric!

My interest in sewing began at the age of 8 through my involvement in 4H and then again after starting my own family. When I was younger 4H allowed me to gain sewing skills and also build confidence. Competing against other kids my age made me feel worthy and part of a community.

Fortunately, I was a stay-at-home mom when I started my own family, which allowed me to pickup sewing again. At first, I only sewed for friends and family and helped a girlfriend with alterations at her business.

This year 2020 has thrown my family and most of us into a whirlwind. When the pandemic began and with 4 family members working as RN’s, I felt obligated to help in any way. So when I found out our local hospital needed fabric masks for their patients, I went to work. I began making masks to donate then family and friends asked me to sew scrub caps too.

Now we’re months later and my donations have turned into a small business - Sew Cute Fabric Designs. I sell fabric, notions, masks and scrub caps. I’m very thankful and blessed for everyone’s support.

SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH MY ORDER!
While I try to prepare every order perfectly, occasionally mistakes do happen. Simply send me a convo letting me know what the problem is and I will do my best to fix the mistake. If there is a problem with the fabric, please take a picture.
WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP?
If the mail has already left for the day, I ship within 1 Business Day, except for holidays. Weekend orders are shipped on Mondays.
WHAT IF THE FABRIC I PURCHASED IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE.
I work very hard to keep the online inventory updated. Sometimes an item will sell out and be purchased elsewhere before I can adjust the inventory on Etsy. In this case, I will either send convo for instructions or refund, or both.

Order Specifics

USPS first class and priority packages include tracking and delivery confirmation. Priority mail includes insurance for up to $100. If the value of your purchase is more than the insured amount and you wish to protect the full value, you will need to purchase additional insurance.

USPS first class mail packages are NOT insured and buyer assumes risk for loss and damage during shipment for ALL uninsured packages.

Lost Packages

Unfortunately, this happens and is out of my control! I can only be responsible for your order up to the point that I hand your package over to the post office. I do not refund or reship items for lost or wrongly delivered orders due to USPS errors. I recommend asking neighbors if they have received your package, ask anyone else living at the same residence and check mailbox, front doors, side doors any place the package could be. If this fails, the next step is to file a lost package claim with your local post office.

Returned Mail

If your package is returned to us because of delivery issues, i.e. wrong address, unable to forward, I will notify you for a corrected/updated address and attach an invoice for additional shipping. If I don’t hear from you within 7 days, the order will be cancelled and refunded. Refund amount will be 20% less for restocking fee.
