The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
Returns and exchange details
As we send all our parcels out by recorded delivery this guarantees a safe arrival to your door so we can track your order if it becomes delayed or lost.
We also make sure we pack and send our items out securely to avoid breakages, but in the case of accidents we do have a return the goods and refund policy so just email us with your concerns should something go wrong.

If you are in anyway unhappy with your purchase please do get in touch via email & providing the items are returned in the original condition within 14 days of receipt we would be happy to arrange a refund or exchange for you. Please request proof of postage when returning items though as we cannot be held responsible for items damaged or lost in the post.
Our online store is accessed via our Etsy store, via this we can accept payment via credit/debit cards, Etsy gift cards, Paypal or Cheque.

For those wishing to place on order via an alternative method please email info [!at] & we can send you an invoice via email for payment. Do be aware this method may delay the processing of your order as we will need to receive payment before goods are shipped.
We post all of our UK orders via a Royal Mail Recorded Signed For delivery service - where price is subject to product bought & weight. Please note that your package will require a signature on delivery so make sure that somebody will be at your delivery address to sign for it.

If you require a speedier service then we can offer you a Royal Mail Special Next Day delivery service which will be an additional postage cost, so please do email us to let us know.

For International customers we post all of our items using a Royal Mail International Signed For service or Airsure where appropriate. So just follow the options for selecting your country when placing your order.

Everything in our shop is lovingly handmade at SewSmitten HQ, so if we have the items you have ordered in stock we aim to despatch within 1-2 days of purchase. If however we need to make up your item please allow anything up to a week for despatch, should this be the case we will notify you by email.

Once despatched, please allow up to 5 working days for UK orders & up to 10 days for International orders to reach you.
