    About

I love vintage textiles, fabrics and traveling.

When I purchased my first vintage trailer, restoring it was as fun as traveling. Now I am onto a new trailer restore(my 3rd!). We've participated in trailer rallies, Palm Springs Modernism Week & trips down Route 66. Hiked the Grand Canyon, rocked under the stars at the Joshua Tree Music Festival & found my inner explorer again. All the while, I've collected & made towels, pillows & gear. That's how sew Trippy came about.
I feel that great textiles fill you up like comfort food. Whether by beautiful patterns, gracious design or memories of home. They make your space warm & whisper of memories. I am an avid hunter (now I have an excuse) when it comes to Etsy, Ebay and estate sales & tend to treat fabrics as parts of an art piece when I sew. My goal is one of washable, usable items and fun, beautiful vintage re-purposed to enjoy again. Things you are glad you found.
Personally, I am foremost a wife and Mom. I love my artwork(sewing), travel & photography. My years as a mural artist working with architects & designers bleeds over into my home & my studio. I fill my living spaces with memories from adventures & family. My studio; with textures, paint, ideas & lots of taped up quotes about what is wonderful & inspiring in this crazy thing we call Life.
You have to remember to laugh, to respect, to say your thank yous & to open your eyes (even in the midst of the all the hard things) to the amazing world out there & the rainbow of people you can meet. We all have a story, an adventure and gifts to share. I find taking the time to see that in people is a wonderful thing in itself.

Thank you for visiting my store. I am a landscape & wildlife artist with a vintage trailer & camping bug that has me adventuring as much as possible. My vintage items come from estate sales as well as finds while traveling with my husband. More than half the fun is the hunt of course and the pleasure of interacting with others. Enjoy your visit!

    Additional policies and FAQs
I stand behind the quality of my art supplies, custom canvases & the uniqueness and fun of my vintage finds and re-purposed items. I would never pass on anything below the quality that I would collect or use myself. Cheap is not ok.
