This is even more beautiful in person. I was looking for something lightweight and "Viking-esque" as a wrap. I live in FL and anything with fur is just too hot. This is perfect. The seller generously swapped out a clasp for me. Considering it was coming from UK to USA, it arrived fairly quickly.

This is lovely and so comfortable. I bought it to go with a Christmas dress and its perfect. I have quite a few of Silvia's creations and they never fail to amaze, thank you.
The story so far...
I grew up in in Italy, I always loved art and crafts and one of the things I enjoyed the most was knitting and crocheting with my grandma.
In my 20's I went travelling.
I met lots of creative people along the way and we all share skills and taught each other. Then in a community in South of Spain someone came with lots of wool and taught me how to felt. It was like love at first sight !
We kept on travelling to India this time, It is there that I discovered there the beauty of the organza silk and start mixing it in with the merino wool creating hats, shawls, waistcoats. I particular love mixing in different fabrics with the wool and creating new textures.
We finally arrived in England and set up a base in Glastonbury.
I feel my artwork has really blossomed here in the UK and Glastonbury has welcomed me and my family ( husband plus kids) with such an open heart. Here I connected with the Glastonbury Goddess Temple and it is there that I am selling most of my felt artwork. Creating items for ritual wear allows my creativity to expand and I found a meaning in putting my artwork in service of the sacred. I still travel every year to India where I source the silk from the weavers in the Holy city of Varanasi. All of the silk I source is rare and make every piece I made unique.
I have also trained now as a milliner and I am experimenting with feathers and beads and creating fantasy tribal headwear.
Glastonbury is an amazing creative hub and the magical land surrounding us is inspiring my artwork.
