Mi ART Box comenzó con una de mis ideas. Tuve una idea para una caja de arte portátil mientras estaba de vacaciones familiares cuando mi hija tenía 5 años. Siendo artista y madre, siempre viajé con algunos suministros de arte. Por lo general, me encontraba metiendo cosas en una bolsa y luego no tener un caballete para trabajar dificultaba las cosas. ¡Tuve la idea de crear una caja de arte de viaje que fuera funcional y linda! Nació mi ART Box. Mi caja ART almacena suministros de arte, se convierte en un caballete de mesa y enmarca obras de arte terminadas, todo en un lindo estuche del tamaño de un viaje.
Tengo una pequeña artista en casa y no quiero nada más que animarla a expresarse y encontrar alegría en hacer arte. Quiero que vea que hacer arte es una forma de vida y algo que puede ser parte de cada día. ¡Quiero animar a todos los padres a compartir el arte y la creatividad con sus hijos y TODOS deben saber que pueden adquirir las habilidades necesarias para ver cómo sus ideas creativas cobran vida!
Con más de 20 años de experiencia en la educación artística, he visto de primera mano la mejora en la vida de uno a partir de la búsqueda del arte y la expresión de la creatividad. ¡El arte nutre el alma y solo mejora la vida!
Si hay un niño por ahí que necesita aliento como artista, quiero ser esa persona que apoye su espíritu creativo.
Mi objetivo con My ART Box es también donar cajas de arte a niños necesitados, para que no importa las circunstancias en las que se encuentren, tengan su creatividad y la tierra de la imaginación siempre esté a su alcance.

My ART Box started with one of my ideas. I had an idea for a portable art box while on a family vacation when my daughter was 5 years old. Being an artist and mom, I always traveled with some art supplies. I usually found myself stuffing things into a bag and then not having an easel to work on made things difficult. I had the idea to create a travel art box that would be functional and cute! My ART Box was born. My ART box stores art supplies, converts to a table-top easel, and frames finished artwork all in a cute travel-sized case.
I have a little artist at home and I want nothing more than to encourage her to express herself and find joy in making art. I want her to see that making art is a way of life and something that can be a part of every day. I want to encourage all parents to share art & creativity with their children and EVERYONE should know they can acquire the skills necessary to see their creative ideas come to life!
With over 20 years of experience in fine art education, I have seen first hand the improvement in one's life from the pursuit of art and the expression of one's creativity. Art nurtures the soul and just makes life better!
If there is a child out there who needs encouragement as an artist, I want to be that person that supports their creative spirit.
My goal with My ART Box is to also donate art boxes to children in need, so that no matter the circumstances they may be in – they have their creativity and the land of imagination is always at their fingertips.
