Announcement   Affordable Seaglass Jewelry made by hand from authentic New England Seaglass. Here you find pieces of jewelry that are formal enough for a wedding and casual enough for a day at the beach.

SALE: Use the code summer15 to save 15% off your purchase of $20 or more.

If you like my work but do not see exactly what you are looking for, please contact me through Etsy and I will do my best to create exactly what you have been hunting for. I enjoy working with customers to create unique pieces of seaglass jewelry.

None of the seaglass I use has been tumbled. If I made any alterations to it, like a tiny whole, I describe it my item description. My prices range from as low as $10 and do not get much higher than $40. The lower priced and more rustic pieces usually feature beach glass on leather cord wrapped in copper wire. The more formal and high priced pieces use all sterling silver or 14Kgold filled metal. More affordable versions of the sterling silver designs are available in silver plate.

GORGEOUS piece! I don't think I could put into words how happy it makes me. I expected a small piece of sea glass and I got a surprisingly large piece beautifully wrapped in wire! Seller was kind and responded quickly to my questions before I made the purchase. :D

About

An Outlet for Creativity turns into a Bussiness

I have always loved to take home treasures from my beach adventures, whether they be shells, seaglass, or pieces of drift wood. I have also always thought of my self as a rather creative person. I love to write, to make stories and to create things. A few years ago I was looking for something creative to do that produced more concrete results than writing fiction. I wanted to make something that I could make in a shorter amount of time. I wanted to satisfy the creative part of my brain and have the result be a product I could hold in my hand after a few hours, not a few years. I knew sewing, knitting and drawing were not my thing - so what else was I going to do?

One day I came home from the beach with a bag of seaglass, and instead of storing it in a jar like I planned, I went to the local craft store, picked up some copper wire and decided to try and wrap the seaglass like I had seen a women at a flea market do with beach stones. That was the just beginning. After four years of experimentation, reading, the occasional jewelry class and looking at what other artist did to seaglass, I have finally developed my own unique style for seaglass jewelry and my new hobby has turned into a business.

I have over 200 hundred pieces of seaglass jewelry for sale in my shop now. I sell and create new items every day, and am always taking custom orders. Customers ask me to make gifts for their mothers, sisters, daughters, cousins friends and bridesmaids. I love to take a description someone gives me of a piece of jewelry they want and turning it into the real thing.

Each piece of seaglass has a past story and a future story. The past story is what it was before it was tossed into the sea where it became smooth and frosty. The future story is the one told by the piece of jewelry it becomes and the person who buys and wears it. When you buy a piece of my jewelry, you become part of the story.

I love the ocean! I've grown up near it, and will go for walks on the beach whether it is 100 degrees or 10 degrees. I love scanning the shore for beach glass and the thrill of finding a rare colored piece then using it to create something unique!

Shop policies

Last updated on September 1, 2013
No two items in this shop are exactly alike. I make my items by hand and a lot of my materials, like sea glass and pearls are natural materials so they themselves are unique. No two pieces of sea glass are really alike, so a lot of the items in my shop can not be duplicated. If you something you wants sells before you buy, I may not be able to make another piece exactly like it, but if you contact me I will do my best to make something similar.

Shipping
Most items are shipped 1-3 days after I have received payment. Custom orders or items that say made to order can take up to two weeks to be shipped. If I have all the necessary material in stock, I try to complete custom orders in a week. However, if I have to order material or if the order consists of more than 5 or 6 items, these orders can take longer to complete.

Once it the item is shipped it takes 2-5 days to receive if the destination is in the US and you selected standard shipping. If you select a priority upgrade you will recieve your item in 2 or 3 days, and Express is next day delivery. International orders can take much longer mail.

To keep shipping cost down and to be green, I try to recycle packaging material as much as I can. Your item may come in a new envelope or it may come in a box that was originally used to ship something else. The outside package may not have my store logo on it, but the items inside will arrive safe and in one piece with out taking new resources from the environment,
Refunds and Exchanges
If you are not satisfied with an item, you have 7 days from the time it was purchased to return or exchange it. You will not be refunded for any shipping charges and will be responsible for the return shipping.

You will be refunded for the item if you choose to return it.

I will also allow you to exchange it for another item, but you will have to pay to ship the unwanted item back to me and to have the new item shipped to you.

If something breaks too easily and it is not because of shipping, convo me through etsy or email me and we can work out a reasonable way to fix it.

If the item was damaged in shipping and it cost $20 or more, the item was most likely insured. In this case, you may file a claim with the post office for a refund.
