Impressed by this on etsy homepage I purchased this dazzling piece and a set of some gorgeous over budget druzy earrings elsewhere on etsy to make a sparkly early birthday prezzie. While I love the nice real chalcedony beads the druzy turned out to be plastic with imbedded glitter to mimic a real druzy I was puzzled at beautiful gemstones paired with plastic. While disappointing in this is, I am in conversation with the artist to find a good happy medium as I love the delicate beads, but cannot fathom wearing plastic. an honest mis listing by the artist, were coming to some agreement that will be comfortable and benefit us both in the long run. 5 stars for communication 4 for plastic.

About

Inner Joy Found One Bead At a Time

Being able to make things with my hands has always been a large part of my life since I was young. It all began when I was 12 years old string beads to make matching bracelet sets. As time went on the need to feed my interest grew by expanding materials used and techniques. When I started working with wire it was like a fire was started. Being able to bend and twist this material to create something different by simply linking, hammering and now stamping really added to the custom part of making jewelry.

I am an avid cyclist who enjoys a good bead hunt. On many of my adventurers or travels, thanks to the internet, I am able to look up new bead stores or find other artist who hand make their own components, pendants and such. Gathering and saving all these great finds only adds to the creativity of it all. Knowing that some day I will come across their counterparts to finally be able to bring it all together creating a truly one of a kind necklace or bracelet that someone will enjoy as much as I did making it.

Packaging is also very enjoyable. Finding boxes, bags and ribbons to really seal the deal. Having someone pick something I made and gifting it is a real treat. It's always exciting being able to box something up and make that last tie on the bow never get's old.

My littlest assistant likes to twirl twirl twirl the tassel makers handle and let me know when there is enough thread on it. Promptly stating, "Put the jump ring there and then tie the tassel mommy."

I believe that inner joy can be found simply one bead at a time. From shinny new crystals to unique vintage finds or re-purposed jewelry into something new. Making jewelry that someone can wear to add to their inner beauty and bring a smile to their face keeps me designing one bead at a time.
