Announcement   _________

Welcome to Shealynn's Faerie Shoppe! I specialize in fairytale-inspired jewelry and much of my inspiration comes from my favorite books and from medieval and renaissance styles.

_________

2017-2018 postage update: Due to postage increases for USPS, my shipping rates have had to increase. This will most dramatically affect international packages. I apologize for the inconvenience; it is out of my control!

_________

Looking for something made just for you? There are quite a few popular customizable items in the "Made to Order" section, but if you would like any other custom piece, feel free to contact me at shealynnsfaerieshoppe [!at] gmail.com and I will work with you! During the school year, my queue for custom pieces ranges between 1-6 weeks depending on the size of the order. Please note that I am unable to do certain techniques such as soldering during the school year.

_________

Shealynn's Faerie Shoppe began when I was 13 and wanted to be Arwen from Lord of the Rings. I made my own headpiece using cheap aluminum wire and started a blog shortly thereafter. In high school I started to tell the jewelry creations. The rest, as they say, is history.
_________

Follow me on my blog, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or Pinterest for behind-the-scenes and a heads-up on any sales. My username will be @shealynnsfaerie or "Shealynn's Faerie Shoppe" depending on the platform.

_________

(I previously sold on Artfire with over 320 sales and 5/5 stars-- as of the summer of 2014 I am officially moving my Shoppe to Etsy).

Updates

Behind the scenes early in the process —I’m working with fine silver in clay form to create delicate (but sturdy!) little woodland rings and am experimenting with pendants. You can see the teeny flower here which was used in my new twig and blossom ring!
I recently found out about #middleearthmarch and am preparing posts for my Instagram (@shealynnsfaerie) to join in the fun! I just had to throw in some real electroformed oak and maple leaf pendants into the photos. blush

About

It all began with a "Lord of the Rings" costume...

When I was 13 years old, I wanted to be Arwen from The Lord of the Rings for Halloween. I couldn't find any Elvish jewelry that I could afford, so my mom bought me some beads and wire to experiment with and make my own jewelry.

I loved it so much that I quickly used up all my supplies and bought some more with my own money. Soon I began selling pieces online so that I could afford more supplies to play with, and the rest, as they say, is history. I absolutely love designing custom jewelry for everyone who likes a bit of fairytale sparkle!

My dad partitioned off part of the garage into a studio for me, where I make everything by hand. During the school year, I work at my dorm room desk and fill my wardrobe with more art supplies than clothing!

Be sure to visit my website, www.shaylynnann.com to find links to my blog, facebook page, YouTube channel, and more, for behind-the-scenes!

Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalized orders

I am always happy to work with you to create the perfect piece. Custom orders take an average of 3 weeks to complete, but this varies and larger orders (especially multiple pieces for weddings) should allow for extra time. Please contact me for more information!

Will the color be exactly as seen in the photo?

While I strive to photograph every piece as exactly as possible using natural light, some monitors and devices display colors differently. This has caused two issues in the past, when customers expected a slightly different color than the actual product. If you would like more information about a product's color, please contact me for more pictures or information.
