The detail on this piece is amazing, and there's a real sense of the texture of it, even as a print! The quality is awesome: the colors really pop, and it has a ton of presence (and is obviously a great conversation piece). Plus: are you gonna say no to sleepy cute-thulu?

This walrus is so cute, and perfect for framing. Customer service was over the top!

About

The Journey

I've always been compelled to make things from a very young age. Sometimes I wish "making things" was something specific like paint, blow glass, or sculpt, but to be honest I've always been fascinated with the beauty of all things and their creation. I get a big kick out of seeing how things work and trying it myself, so I've experimented a lot, but still find myself drawn to things I haven't done before. During my undergrad I studied painting, drawing, figure drawing, illustration, ceramics, sculpture in wood and metal, darkroom and digital photography, video, and stop motion animation. I could never pick a favorite. I learned how to sew in 2011 and have since made several costumes and props since then. In 2013 I learned how to crochet and made amigurumi pieces which would become the core of my work for Delaware Fun-A-Day 2014. My interest in a particular media may come and go, but I'm almost always in the middle of something!
