Welcome to Shelscapes online art gallery. The name Shelscapes is a combination of my nick name 'Shel' and the word 'Landscapes'. Nature, spirituality, quiet time, and learning from people inspires many of my creative works. Color and line are two elements of art that I often work and re-work into many of my paintings. Collage is another form of creative expression that brings me satisfaction in both process and product. My hope is that my work resembles a language of beauty spoken through the elements of art; line, shape, color, texture and pattern.
