I Enjoy Every Process of Making Things.
Hello! My name is Shiho. I am a self-taught jewelry designer based in Oregon. My inspirations come from nature's fresh colors, graceful lines and intricate textures. Some of my creations are influenced by genteel vintage colors and rustic decor. My color palette includes many shades of white and soft in-between colors. I love using bold colors too!
Normally my design process starts with taking a peek in my drawers (This is the best part!). I have a huge collection of gemstones, glass beads, vintage beads, pearls and crystals as I have been making jewelry on and off for 15 years. My beads are organized by colors and materials so that it's easy to mix and match for each project. After selecting beads and findings (fancy word for clasps, rings, crimps, etc.), I lay out a pattern on my white table and play with a design until I am completely satisfied. Finally I start putting the beads together (This is the easiest part!).
All items are designed and handcrafted by me at my smoke free home studio. I try to create something that is simple but with style. Please bookmark if you like my style of jewelry. I hope you can find your favorites in my shop!
When I am not working on my jewelry pieces, I am either cooking, baking or exploring the beautiful Northwest.
Thanks so much for visiting and have a lovely day!
Shiho
