Painting arrived in excellent condition. Fast prompt delivery and wrapped with great care. Very lovely little painting from a very lovely lady. I look forward to more of your beautiful paintings of the Scottish coast. Warmest regards, Elaine.

The painting was exactly as I had hoped for, absolutely beautiful. The sellers were very friendly and the item arrived in very good time. Very pleased with this purchase!
From Polymer Clay to Knitting and Travels with 'Indy'
Shoogly Beads, the shop, only became possible after we both took early retirement from our day jobs.
Together we are Pat & Mike of Shoogly Beads...and yes we do squabble like the pair in the film 'Pat & Mike'!!
Pat has been a designer artist and crafter since childhood.
Early efforts include cutting up her mother's fur cape to make gloves and pulling apart peony roses to make skirts for fairies. Needless to say these efforts were not appreciated! Her efforts now go into jewellery making, painting and knitting
Mike came to arts and crafts from a background in engineering. He can do a mean cartoon and loves photography. Bead making fascinates him and he's been known to spend hours looking at ancient beads and working out the primitive making process (some not so primitive he thinks!) He loves the design process and the versatility of polymer clay.
The name Shoogly was Mike's idea and comes from a good Scot's word meaning 'wobbly' or 'shaky'. We thought this fitted well with most of the jewellery we produced. Earrings and bracelets should be 'shoogly'!
Although we've been creating for years we only started selling Mike's polymer clay beads and Pat's jewellery designs on the internet in 2009. Stocking of our Etsy shop followed in late 2011.
Recently more of Pat's artwork has been added......mainly ACEOs and other paintings along with printed cards.... latterly we have added more of Pat's knitting designs and they are proving very popular.
Most of Pat's knitting designs are completed during our Summer travels. Your gloves may have been knitted by a lochside, a West coast seashore or at the foot of Ben Nevis!
There isn't a fancy workshop. Our house is our workshop so generally looks like a bomb site although we try to restrict actual production to our large dining kitchen!
When we aren't at home we are off travelling in our trusty motor home 'Indy' along with our beloved dogs, chocolate labrador, Hannah and spaniel collie cross, Belle. We love travel, walking, photography, reading, art, music and loads of other things!
Scotland really is an inspiration to us and Indy is fabulous allowing us to wander from coast to coast staying anywhere that takes our fancy. We love the sea, the forests and the mountains. We even love our infinitely unpredictable weather!
