Shootergirl Ammunition Jewelry and Accessories

| Pinconning, Michigan

Star Seller.

This seller sets a shining example for providing a great customer experience, with a history of 5-star reviews, on-time shipping, and quick replies.

Announcement    Custom jewelry is available. Multiple caliber and crystal choices are available also on the majority of designs listed. I can use your own casings. Military funeral casing designs are free, please message me for details.

Bullet casings have character with a variety of headstamps and wear patterns so each will be unique and vary slightly from what are in the photographs. Please let me know if there is a particular brand you like, otherwise they are randomly selected. I do match up head stamps in designs with more than one bullet unless approved otherwise. Please ask if you do not see your favorite caliber as I have a variety available including pistol, rifle, and shotgun shells, I can even use your own. Multiple pieces may be available even if I show only one in the listing. Casings are cleaned and polished, hand or machine cut or drilled, and full bullet designs are hand loaded, any primers left are spent and safe. Silver casings are brass covered by a very thin layer of nickel through electroplating. I use bezels and try to use surfaces that cover raw edges so there is no nickel contact if that is a concern. Naturally brass will darken and adds to the character and authenticity of bullet casing jewelry. Nickel casings hold the silver look with no maintenance.

I will do my best to ship within a few days on custom orders as I like to give them 24 hours to cure.
Most listings that are not altered I am able to mail same day/next morning depending on time of order. Please keep in mind 3 to 5 days is the average delivery time for 1st class mail. If there is a rush, shipping upgrades are available, you can also send me a message before ordering and I can verify if I am able to ship that same day to save you time and money. Custom orders and variations I will send pictures for approval and can create private listings from our conversation.

I also love to repurpose vintage jewelry so there are several one of a kind pieces to choose from. I also use deer antler, feathers, turkey beards, fishing lures, and love hand stamping little messages. Please let me know if you'd like something specific, I'd love to make you something truly unique and personal.

Custom designs are available for Military funeral bullet casings, and these will be done for free. Please message me for details, feel free to look through the listings to see if there is a design you like and we can build on that.

Wedding jewelry and discounts are available. Wholesale is also available.

Thank you so much, and please feel free to message me with any questions, I would enjoy hearing from you.

Military funeral brass designs are free, msg me for arrangements. Custom designs are available upon request.

My husband was away on Military deployments, and that is how I started making jewelry, it gave my mind something else to focus on. He taught me to shoot and hunting is something we do together. I enjoyed going to the range while he was away, and I have my CPL. I collected a lot of casings in anticipation of reloading, but I also loved the idea of recycling them into something with a bit of personality.

My husband has since retired, he spent 32 years with the Army National Guard and retired as a Command Sergeant Major, he also spent almost 2 years away as a contractor in Kuwait after his retirement. I had been a medical transcriptionist for 26 years. Now that he is home, I was able to quit my full-time job and we have turned my jewelry into something we do together, and that is the best part! We have been meeting so many wonderful people, women who love to carry and have their favorite calibers; men who brag how their wives or girlfriends or children shoot; people who have great memories of hunting with someone special and saving their casings. I love hearing first time hunters tell their stories even if they were so excited and missed. I am able to turn a simple spent bullet casing into something that can start a conversation, hold a special memory, and not be left lost in a drawer. I have also been blessed to create something special with military funeral brass and have met so many people who I've cried with listening to them talk about their heroes.

I love the challenge of making something with a spent casing, antler, metal, etc. Please do not hesitate to ask if you'd like a variation or would like to use your own. Military Funeral Brass designs are free.

My husband makes it possible for me to do what I love. He cuts all my casings....and antler (and doesn't complain...he does roll his eyes sometimes, but I guess I deserve it)!

Silver-looking bullet casings are regular brass that is covered by a thin layer of nickel through electroplating. Nickel casings make beautiful jewelry and hold the shine and require very little maintenance if at all, and I have several calibers available. I use bezels and other surfaces that cover raw edges/cut surfaces so there is very little to no nickel exposure if that is a concern. The yellow brass will darken as brass does but very little effort is required to make it shine bright.

EASY CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR NEW BULLET JEWELRY
Do not wear bullet jewelry in water, especially salt water or chlorinated water, as it may cause spotting to occur. If you forget and wear your bullet jewelry in the shower wipe it dry as soon as possible. If it happens to be a full bullet style with drill holes, turn it sideways and prop it up to drain and then dry it with a soft cloth.

CLEANING YOUR BULLET JEWELRY
Do not clean your bullet jewelry by soaking it in any kind of liquid cleaner. The best method is simply keeping it clean by buffing lightly with a soft dry cloth.

A tiny bit of commercial brass polish (inexpensive and available in most stores) works wonders for shining and cleaning too, follow instructions and lightly buff with a soft dry cloth. Using the same cloth you've buffed with, gently wipe your gemstone or crystal too for new luster and shine.

To retain shine longer when not being worn, store it in an air tight baggie or container. The trick to preventing most metals from tarnishing or turning your skin green is keeping it clean. Dirty metals reacts with chemicals on your skin from sweat, perfume, lotions, and soaps causing oxidation, it is the oxidation that turns your skin colors and darkens your brass.

EASY CARE FOR STERLING SILVER JEWELRY
I like to use rhodium in my designs which has a platinum color. It is considered hypoallergenic too. If you prefer sterling silver, I would be happy to provide you with what options I have on hand.

Store sterling silver jewelry individually and with clasps unhooked in an air-tight bag or container as oxygen causes tarnishing. You can also place a packet of silica or a piece of chalk to help with any moisture. Higher purity silver tarnishes more quickly. You should wear your sterling silver jewelry regularly as oils from your skin can have a cleaning effect and polish them regularly before becoming too tarnished.

Remove your jewelry before putting on lotion or makeup, using hairspray, swimming or sunbathing. Remove before cooking with mustard, onions, eggs, or other foods containing sulfur as that contributes to tarnishing as well.

If you have questions, please feel free to contact me. I hope you enjoy your bullet jewelry for a very long time.
