Southern Transplant, New England Living
I'm a Southern girl, originally from Memphis, TN. I moved to New Hampshire after graduating from College in Springfield, MO with a BA in Creative Writing. While in college, I spent a semester abroad in Japan, and was inspired by the way the Japanese are always dressed up.
It wasn't until years later when I challenged myself to dress up, not down for an entire year, that my love of style blossomed. That meant never leaving the house in leggings or sweats or Pjs, and always putting an element of care into my appearance. I found I loved the way I felt when I dressed in quality clothing that worked for me.
I spend my days with my two sons Rhys and Christopher, and my miniature dachshund Kiki, and my husband Aj, who supports me in all of my endeavors. My favorite season is fall, because I love fall in New England with the gorgeous trees, endless orchards, and PYO pumpkin patches.
