My name is Taylor Child!
Art and graphic design are both a big part of my life. I am so glad I have the opportunity to use my creativity to make your party planning a little easier and more aesthetically pleasing.
Shop Smiddy was started out of a need to create. My creativity began at a young age- mostly through dance. dancing 20+ hours per week was normal until I was a senior I had to get surgery, which led to two more surgeries. during each of my recovery times, I found so much comfort in creating other forms of art- pencil sketching, calligraphy, bullet journaling, watercolor, and later graphic design.
A couple of years into Shop Smiddy my sweet son made his way to the world two months early. For 36 days I spent almost every day at the hospital and the only way to keep my sanity was to paint newborns! (see www.shopsmiddy.com to see them)
Since then I have found so much joy in designing and hosting baby and toddler parties. You'll find a lot of baby shower templates here and it's because, in this season of my life, I am all about the babies.
