ShopVintageGifts' Shop Policies
We are always searching for the unique, the odd, the "I never saw one of those!" items that make unique gifts and eye catching decor. We take the extra time to clean and restore items and we wouldn't do it any other way.
Collecting, preserving, and giving vintage items a new home is a passion, and we hope you see that in the items we offer.
► Payment Method: We accept Paypal and all major credit cards directly through Etsy.
► Sales Tax: Orders shipping to a Pennsylvania address will be charged the 6% state sales tax.
► Cancellation: You may cancel your order up until you receive notification in Etsy that it has shipped. If it has been marked Shipped, please refer to our return policy.
► Packaging: We love finding and reclaiming old items, so it only seems right to recycle packaging materials when we can. We package and ship our orders in the most appropriate and secure way based on it's size and fragility.
► Gifts: Are you having your order shipped directly to someone as a gift? Just include a note at checkout and we will make sure your order is packed accordingly.
► Processing Time: We do our best to ship orders the same day they are received or the next business day at the latest. Check our feedback and you will see many customers happy with how quickly we deliver orders. If you need something by a certain date - let us know and we will make it happen!
► International Orders: There are some items we cannot ship internationally, but very few. The Shipping costs shown for International delivery may be less depending on destination. Please contact us and we will update the item's shipping options with an exact shipping quote for your country. Customs may delay a package at entry to your country and any import fees or customs charges are the buyer's responsibility.
► Carrier: We use USPS (United States Postal Service) services for nearly all of our packages, including International. Most items ship via Priority Mail with a 2-3 day delivery in the United States. Large or heavy items may use Standard Post to make shipping economical.
Refunds and Exchanges
Given the unique and original nature of our items, visible wear and age are common and expected. We make every effort to photograph and explain the condition of each item. Please ask any questions before ordering if necessary.
► Shipping Costs: We refund the difference between the amount we charged for shipping and the actual shipping cost in the event it exceeds one dollar. We issue these refunds immediately after processing and shipping the order.
► Domestic Orders: We accept returns in the event we misrepresented an item or it's condition. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will work with you to make it right.
► International Orders: We currently do not accept returns or issue refunds for international orders. We highly encourage international buyers to ask any questions or request additional photographs prior to ordering.
► Damaged or Lost items: In the unlikely event your order is damaged or lost during shipping, please contact us immediately. Keep all packaging material and take photographs of the item, it's condition and the packaging for a claim to be filed with the carrier.
