Crochet Swimsuit for real women, not supper skinny fashion show models!

I started my swimsuit shop on Etsy, in 2009. Back then, not many people knew about Etsy, and I did not receive the attention I was expecting. Now that I am back on Etsy after more than four years being off, I am receiving an increadable attention from people that keeps me going.

I am a midwife, and also a medical illustrator (drawing and painting human anatomy). My anatomical knowledge about human body is a great tool that I use in designing my swimsuits.

I make swimsuits for real people, not underweight skinny models that we see almost merely on fashion shows! So, in average, my crochet swimsuits are between sizes 12 to 16. I have made swimsuits for size 20 and larger, for some of my local customers, here in London Ontario Canada.

Being a size 14 woman, myself, I can relate to people when they think they need to loose weight to have one of my crochet swimsuits on. This is not necessarily true. Women with any size and weight carry the weight of their bosom constantly. This is why I have designed a criss/cross style of strips for the tops, and also a shoe-lace style of bands for sides of the bottoms for my crochet swimsuits. The criss/cross evens out the weight of the chest on shoulders and prevents the pressure on the neck. And, the shoe-lace style of bands on the sides of the hips prevents the wrong illusion of love handles. These points are widely ignored by the majority of designer swimsuits for women. Commercial swimsuit producers and bathing suit manufacturers for women, honestly, do not pay much of attention to what really women want!

When I receive a custom order, usually it takes me 2-3 days to complete the project. Yet, I provide the customer with photos on each step of the way, and have her actively involved in the process of creating her own crochet swimsuit. I also have the habit to call my custom made orders after their name, in their honor. Of course, I ask for their permission and have their consent, prior to have their monokini/swimsuit, listed on my shop.

Now, my crochet swimsuits are traveling internationally, which makes me feel proud about my work.

Thank you for visiting my shop,

Welcome to my shop, and thank you for your purchase.

Note For My CROCHET SWIMSUIT Buyers: The beads' color, style, shape, and size cannot be guaranteed to be exactly what you may see in photos. As suppliers discontinue the same beads, at times. Yet, I will try my best to use beads that are as close as possible to the original crochet beaded swimsuits of your choice.

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Visa
  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover
  • Pay with PayPal
  • Money Order
I accepts payments through PayPal, and money orders.
Note For my swimsuit buyers: I need to let you know that the price for international shipping and handling is not decided by me. Every year Canada Post does have some changes in the cost of shipping and handling!

Shipping cost is what Canada Post would charge for packages. And, handling includes the cost for packaging, protection sheets, and/or bobble sheets.

There is a "Surface" kind of shipping that does NOT include a "Tracking Number" and it will take almost 3 times the "Air" postage. I personally, do not prefer this kind of shipping as there won't be any record if the package was not received by the customer. Yet, this type of postage is cheaper but not guaranteed.

In case, you would prefer the more economic shipping, please contact me, prior to pay for shipping and handling. Based on where you are located I can provide you with the information about this cheaper, but NOT guaranteed postage method.

Thank you so much,

Refunds and Exchanges
Due to Health & Hygiene Rules and Regulations established in Canada, there is NO refunds or exchanges policy applicable to my swimsuits. This means every purchase is a FINAL SALE..

HOWEVER, there is a FIXING policy that may be applicable to custom-made orders that need to be altered. Based on my customer service standards: I make sure about my customers' body measurements/sizing, prior to start crocheting their swimsuit. Also, I sever my customers with: Providing them with photos on each step, all along the way, until I am done crocheting their order. The number of photos that my customers will receive prior to shipping their swimsuit, sometimes, exceeds 20 photos, prior to shipping it. This is how I make sure that my crochet swimsuit customers are completely satisfied with the final product. Therefore: There is a 'CHARGE'/"FEE" for fixing/altering an already made crochet swimsuit. These "Fees" are as follows:

- For EITHER crochet "Monokinis=One-piece-crochet swimsuit" OR "Bikini Sets=Two-pieces crochet swimsuits": The charge may be any thing between $55.00 to $110.00 US, depending on the extra work required to fix/alter the crochet swimsuit.

- For "Bikini Tops" ONLY: The fixing charge would be $20.00 to $35.00 US for crochet "Tops", only. This means that there is NO bottoms, and the customer has ONLY purchased a crochet "Top".

- For crochet "Tankinis" WITHOUT BOTTOMS: Fixing charge would be any thing between $35.00 to $65.00 US, again depending on the extra work.

- For crochet "Tankini Sets=a crochet tankini + its matching Bottoms": The fixing charge would be $55.00 to 110.00 US, depending on the extra work.

In addition, the SHIPPING COST, on both ways, would be covered by the customer. By shipping cost BOTH WAYS, I mean: Sending the crochet swimsuit, in question, back to me, and shipping it back, again to the customer, after it is fixed.

Thank you,

Additional policies and FAQs
I take custom made orders for my "Crochet Swimsuits" ONLY.

I will keep you updated by sending you photos on each step of the way. So, we both may design your custom made crochet swimsuit. In addition, if there is any change/alternation, prior to shipping your crochet swimsuit, we can do it prior to being to late to do so.
