    Hooked on Shoujo

I was introduced to anime and manga at the age of 12. Like many female otaku, my first series was Sailor Moon. I was captured by the sparkle and glitz, and the overarching theme of friendship and love conquering all evil.

Though my tastes in anime and manga have expanded to include many genres, magical girl series still hold a special place in my heart.

I started cosplaying in 2009, at my very first anime convention. Having a love of fashion design since a young age, my parents had enrolled me in sewing classes as a child. Being able to combine my love of anime with my knowledge of sewing opened a world of possibilities for me.

But I had trouble finding accessories for my magical girl costumes - they tend to be dripping in cabochons, and finding huge gems in the size, shape, and color I wanted was near impossible.

When another Sailor Moon cosplayer told me about resin casting, I was immediately intrigued. Here was a way to create the props and accessories I needed at home!

After making gems for myself, I decided it would be a great idea to use my existing molds to help others in the cosplay community, who might be having trouble finding the perfect accessories, just as I once did. For what can magical girls do but help each other?

    -Frequently Asked Questions-

    1. Where are all your resin items? Can you make make me [insert resin gem item here]?
Sorry, but I developed a painful allergy to the resin I worked with, and can no longer make any resin items! Don't be like me... wear gloves and other proper protective equipment when using corrosive chemicals.

    2. I need [insert item] fast as lightning! Can you get it to me in [unreasonably short amount of time]?
Please understand that these items are made-to-order and take several days to make. You also may not be the only person to have ordered a specific item recently, meaning there's a queue of backorders. Be sure to order well in advance of when you need it, and don't forget to factor in shipping time - usually 2-5 days for those in the USA, and anywhere from 11-20 for international!

    3. [Insert item] is listed as sold out, can I still buy it anyways?
I only let an item sell out when I've run out of supplies to make it with, so no, I can't sell you an item that I can't make. I probably already have new supplies on the way and the item will be up for sale again once the new shipment arrives.

    4. How big is [insert item]?
Every listing has dimensions included, usually at the bottom of the description. If you're unfamiliar with metric measurements, the conversion is 25.4mm = 1 inch.

    5. I'm an international buyer. Can you make it so I won't have to pay import tax on your item?
No, that would be international mail fraud. Most single items in my shop are cheap enough that they won't trigger an added tax in most countries, but if you're placing a large order, you will have to pay extra. Check your local customs laws for more info on what you may be expected to pay. It's usually not much.
