I am a Georgia based artist and have been painting for the past 2 decades. Originally from India, I am deeply interested in folk arts from around the world and try to incorporate them in my paintings and share them with you through this page.
I would say that my art is a vibrant union of history, traditions and culture. My most preferred mediums are acrylics and oil.
Through my works, I intend to bring forth arts from around the world- some popular and some produced in cultural isolation. Challenging my boundaries of art would mean reimaging and embracing forgotten art styles and culture and then educating about the same to the audience through the paintings.
Traveling and exploring the culture of various places is something I love to do. I strongly believe that creativity and art are conducive to happiness and this platform will help spread all that delights me.
