HI! Thanks for visiting my shop. I got started in photography as a serious hobby in high school. I took a darkroom photo class and was instantly hooked! There's something so magical about darkroom printing - it's totally different than the instant gratification that I get from digital photography. One day, I will have my own darkroom but that is a story for another day.
When I bought my digital SLR camera, I got hooked on photographing flowers in my backyard. For the first time, I taught myself to shoot manually and got out there to try different things. I did a lot of people photos at first, portraits, a couple weddings, some maternity and baby sessions. All of it was fun, but nothing was as inspiring as when I purchased a macro lens for my camera. I went from dabbler to explorer. There is a whole tiny amazing world out there just right under our noses! Who knew? You can tell by my shop that my favorites are flowers, pollinators and beautiful nature scenes. I love turning my photos into fun note cards, prints and bookmarks (I am a major book nerd and love to read). I love sharing my passion for photography with the rest of the world.
