No. Do not mail or ship your Siesta Key Note inside the clear cellophane sleeve. The cellophane sleeve is intended only to protect the card and envelope during the shipping process to the buyer. The cellophane sleeve may clog postal machines and cause damage to the card or render it undeliverable.

Your SKN photographic print is artwork. And most, if not all, artwork requires careful treatment to promote its longevity.

1) Handle the print with clean hands, only touching the edges of the photo. Oils and dirt on your hands contribute to the deterioration of the print.

2) Frame the print with adequate support from behind, like foam board.

3) Use only archival framing materials to slow deterioration.

4) Frame the print with UV glass to slow color shifting or fading.

5) Do not let the frame glass touch the print.

6) Do not display the print—even with UV glass—in direct sunlight.

7) Do not expose the print—either framed or unframed—to high humidity environments like bathrooms or non-climate controlled areas.

Jan prints the cardstock in her laser printer, feeding each sheet by hand one at a time.

The printed cardstock is folded and trimmed individually before the paper inserts (also folded and trimmed individually) are glued inside.

The photographic prints are attached to the front of the cardstock with four photo corners—each one applied separately by hand.

The finished card is loaded and sealed into a cellophane sleeve with matching cardstock envelope.
