Somos uma equipe de Mãe e Pop, esculpindo placas desde 1975. Começou com um roteador e vendendo alguns sinais em lojas de consignação. Como Pop também era professora do 6º ano, a ênfase principal das vendas ocorria no verão, participando de Feiras de Rua e Mostras de Arte e Artesanato. Aposentado do ensino, isso se transformou em praticamente um trabalho em tempo integral, pois ainda assistimos a cerca de 5 shows por ano em Mn, SD e ND. (Abaixo de 25)

Então vem ETSY! Ainda estamos descobrindo todo o potencial do Etsy e estamos entusiasmados com a forma como ele funciona. Os clientes são extremamente amigáveis e fáceis de trabalhar.

Um pouco sobre o processo. Mamãe administra o estande no verão e no outono e serve como pessoa do ponto de venda. Pop faz a pintura, o design, a escultura e o trabalho sujo. A escultura é toda à mão livre. O roteador meio que assume o controle e as mãos o guiam. Ah, sim, um erro ocasional, mas geralmente está na ortografia!

Em suma, tem sido uma grande experiência para nós.

We are a Mom and Pop team, carving signs since 1975. It started with a router and selling a few signs in consignment stores. Since Pop was also a 6th grade teacher, the main emphasis of sales occurred in the summer by attending Street Fairs and Art and Craft Shows. Retired from teaching, this has turned into practically a full-time job as we still attend about 5 shows per year in Mn, SD, and ND. (Down from 25)

Then along comes ETSY! We are still figuring out the full potential of Etsy and are thrilled with how it works. The customers are extremely friendly and easy to work with.

A bit about the process. Mom runs the booth in summer and fall and serves as the sales point person. Pop does the painting, design, carving, and dirty work. The carving is all freehand. The router just kinda takes over and the hands guide it. Oh yes, an occasional error, but it is usually in the spelling!

All in all, it has been a great experience for us.
