Greetings ! Thank you for visiting my 'shop'!
Everything in my shop is made by me - from beginning to finish.
I welcome you to contact me with any questions about my work or shipping.

I receive great joy in having my pottery used in daily living. I am always delighted when a customer of mine says "I drank from your cup this morning" , or "I ate my oatmeal (or soup) from your bowl today." These responses are part of why I make functional work. The intimate use of handmade things in daily living. I believe it connects us in a wonderful way.

With Jewelry and barrettes I do use ready-made hardware (not made by me.) I always try to buy the best quality I can find.

I am a believer in longevity and quality in all handmade goods.
One of my favorite things about High Fire Stoneware and Porcelain is their durability and lasting quality. Items made of these materials can potentially last many lifetimes.
Integrity is important to me, and I hope to always have it when serving my customers.

I am still learning the 'ropes' here at Etsy and have much more to learn about shipping upgrades and international pertinent matters. I want very much to have an international audience.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
I love what I do and value my work. I want it to have a good home and be with humans who appreciate it.
If you are unhappy with any item you purchase please let me know within 7 days of receipt. I will gladly refund your purchase cost less the initial shipping cost. You will also be responsible for return shipping costs - which must include insurance. Item(s) must be mailed within 14 days of receipt.
When I receive item (in original condition and original packing), I will promptly refund your purchase price. Thank You.
I try very hard to represent each item with many different photographs to give a fair representation of the piece. Yet I know it is still possible to be disappointed with something. I personally think the photographs never do justice to a piece and they are so much more satisfying in the "flesh".

I pack my work with great care, but if you should receive something damaged: please contact me within 48 hours of receipt of your order. Please send me pictures of the damaged items, and the packaging (box). I will refund the cost of the item(s) , less the shipping cost.
Presently I am using Direct Checkout with Etsy .

I set up my shipping costs to accommodate a second item (or more) at only a small additional expense.... however, with a recent purchase , the customer was charged for each item shipped. I gave her a refund for two of the items, just charging her for one. It will depend on the size of the items being purchased. I do not want you over-charged. I will give you a partial refund if you are charged this way.
I also do not want to take too much loss - as packing can be time consuming.

The USPS has increased shipping costs this past January (2020),
and subsequently, I have raised my shipping slightly . As before,
I will issue refunds for any significant shipping overages (more than $2.00)
I do not charge anything for packing.

I usually ship items via USPS Priority Mail (2-3 day shipping)
Some items are shipped via USPS 1st Class mail - it depends on the weight
of item(s) and their value.
I want to serve my customers as best I can. I will offer shipping upgrades to anyone interested, but you must contact me with what you want. I will figure out the pertinent costs.
I am glad to give you as small a shipping cost as possible - so if you purchase two or more items I may be able to give you a refund. Often times sending 3 cups (or other items) does not cost significantly more than sending one. I will not hesitate to refund the charges Etsy makes for each item , in accordance with my final shipping expense. It depends on what the items are , and where they are being shipped.
