I bought this as a birthday present for my mom and she loved it! It also came with a beautiful bag with a sunflower on it, a pretty magnet, and a personalized note from the seller, Tatiana, which was very nice. If you live in the U.S., just make sure to order it in advance since it takes three weeks to send. Дякую!

About

A Peace Corps Partnership for Ukrainian Creators

Eastern Rinok is a Peace Corps volunteer collaborative project with Ukrainian artists who make handmade, traditional Ukrainian merchandise. The program is designed to help Ukrainian artists share their quality handmade products with an international audience. Volunteers sponsor Ukrainian artists and craftspeople and, working with other business-minded Ukrainians, provide training on how to develop an online business. Once the training is completed, the artist opens an Etsy shop and joins our team. Each shop owner on our team has completed training and is fully supported by Peace Corps volunteers. We hope you find what you are looking for in any of the team's shops and welcome feedback at any time. Send a message to any team member or contact the program leaders directly at easternrinok [!at] gmail.com. Thanks for supporting Ukraine.
Eastern Rinok is a Peace Corps Volunteer run and supported initiative and should not be considered an official program of the U.S. Peace Corps.
As the founding Ukrainian partner of the program and the team leader of the Eastern Rinok Team, I work closely with Ukrainians and Americans to help build financial sustainability, increase business knowledge and improve the lives of Ukrainians. I am very proud of this project, my shop, and the shops of other Ukrainians I have worked with.

Welcome! Thank you for your interest in SilkHeart! I specialize in traditional Ukrainian ribbon embroidery. I am a member of the Eastern Rinok Etsy Team, and U.S. Peace Corps volunteers of Ukraine endorse my shop. If you have questions about the Eastern Rinok team, please contact our team leader. All pieces are created by hand, giving each art work its own story. Please allow for slight variances from what is shown in the photos.

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Visa
  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover
  • Pay with PayPal
Payment
I accept PayPal payments via Seller-Online - Protek Trading Company. Seller-Online allows Ukrainian sellers to accept PayPal and others forms of payment, making payment simple and convenient.
Shipping
It is my policy to ship items within three (3) days of receiving payment. If for some reason I will not be able to ship your order within this time frame I will contact you.

I ship worldwide using UKRPOSHTA (УКРПОШТА), the national postal carrier of Ukraine. All international orders are sent “Registered Airmail”, which includes shipping insurance. It typically takes 7-10 days to ship to European countries and 14-21 days to ship to the United States and other countries worldwide. Orders are mailed in padded envelopes or small packages.

For international orders the buyer is responsible for all customs fees and import duties levied upon arrival. It is impossible for me to know all countries’ fees and duties, so if you are concerned about import/duty fees please contact your local postal service. Shipments to the United States are not levied any additional taxes upon receipt.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you are not happy with what you have purchased, please contact me. I make every effort to ensure that each customer is pleased with his or her purchase. I speak English, but should there be a language barrier between us, a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer will help resolve the issue.

Though it is incredibly rare, sometimes orders are damaged during shipping due to rough handling. If an order arrives damaged I would be happy to offer a refund or replacement. All damaged order claims must be reported within 24 hours of delivery of the item, and I will promptly contact you to resolve the issue.
Additional policies and FAQs
Custom orders are available upon request. Please understand that custom orders come with increased production time. Shipment delays will vary by order.

Please excuse my English. It is not my native language, yet I am able to communicate effectively. As a member of the Eastern Rinok Etsy Team I have completed training courses sponsored by Peace Corps volunteers to learn how to run a professional and successful online business. Should they be needed, English-speaking Peace Corps volunteers are available to resolve any misunderstandings.

Please note: The Eastern Rinok training and support program is NOT an official U.S. Peace Corps initiative, but rather a project created by Peace Corps volunteers in Ukraine as a way to help small art and craft entrepreneurs like myself become financially sustainable. You may contact the program coordinators here if you have questions: easternrinok [!at] gmail.com.
