About

I always liked things which had a previous purpose. ......

Walking my two dogs I always came across metal pieces on the road side.
A piece of metal to keep the tires aligned now on the road side rusty, scratched, old and forgotten. The rough industrial look of old rusty metal.
But I do like the beauty of nature, the warmth of the sun, the smells of the trees and flowers, the textures of the leaves and the wood.
Trying to combine the two elements and with a pinch of my dark side I started creating jewelry.
Coming from a family of fashion and hobby artists, I grew up having the paint brushes and canvases around me. My parents always encouraged me to do art and be artistic. I always loved fashion and art. I try not to limit myself in putting myself in one category. I do paint, draw, sew, sculpt, make jewelry and like to get my hands dirty.
I try to create objects that mean something significant to me; something that challenged me through the form and destruction of the elements. My part as an artist is to work in tune with the life of the materials. The imperfection of the found piece on the road side is the part which inspires me the most.
Now with more time on my hands I got back to painting and combine the old with the new.
