Ive used this moisturizer for about 2 weeks now, and I'm very pleased. I have combination skin that requires very little maintenance for it to prosper. I find that one pump is good enough because this contains a few humectants that make my face look a bit "greasy" but it's really just my skin attracting the moisture of the air. Using one pump still gives me a SMALL amount of that over moisturized look so I just use half an oil blotting sheet and I'm good for the day. Also this has not given me any pimples or breakouts at all, my search for the efficient and lightweight and oil/butter free moisturizer is over! Thank you :)

I purchased 2 different lotion samples. One was Honey and oatmeal the there was Vanilla and Lavender. What an amazing product you have! I have used them on my daughter's skin everyday before giving this review and I am very pleased to say her skin is healed. We have tried over 10 brands of lotions. This is the only one that has worked! Will be purchasing more!

About

A Little About Silly Goats Soap Company

Silly Goats Soap Company is located on our small, family farm in the hillside country of beautiful Upstate New York. My name is Chris, my wife Sandy and our little girl, Sarah, who is still at home and in middle school, are the grunt labor in this little operation, here on the farm. Our son Christian, is 23 and off to D.C.

I work full-time on the farm now. I do all the day to day operations of morning and afternoon chores, farm upkeep, as well as make all of our products, while my wife heads out to her corporate job in Syracuse, and my daughter heads off to school.

On our little patch of heaven called “Silly Goats Farm” we enjoy getting back to the basics. We love God, family, friends, and our animals. We enjoy growing our own garden and canning or freezing all of the harvest that we get from that to use over the winter. We have apples, plums, peaches, pears, strawberries, and cherries (if the birds didn’t eat them all) too that we also like to preserve for family and friends. We like the concept of being self-sufficient and we are constantly striving to get closer to that goal.

In addition to the goats, we have 3 dogs, an Australian Shepherd, a German Shepherd, and a little Terrier-mix lap dog. Oh and don’t forget the cats (not that they will let you). We have 2 horses (at the moment,) both of them Arabians that we enjoy riding and fussing over. We have our laying hens, for fresh eggs daily. This year we have started raising our own beef, pigs, rabbits, ducks, turkeys and meat chickens too. I am hoping to add bee hives soon. So, as you can see we have our hands full but we enjoy all of this very much.

How we got started.

It all started with the desire to have our own source of good high quality milk for drinking (and for our coffee too! ) Then we realized exactly how much milk we were going to have left over and thought of ways we could use it.

There’s cheese of course (and my wife does enjoy making small batches for the family), also yogurt and ice cream, but we felt a better use would be for our own skincare. You see I have psoriasis and have been fighting my dry skin problem for over 20 years. My wife has very sensitive skin and can’t use most commercial soaps due to the chemicals they contain. Also, being out in the country, we have well water and it is very hard.

Every-time we’ve researched these issues, Goat’s milk soap has come up as a solution. So, with the goats milk soaps and lotions, we can take care of ourselves with the best products out there.

Goat’s milk has been found to be excellent for replenishing oils, vitamins and minerals into dry skin. So going along with our concept of being more self-sufficient and wanting to use more natural products we researched which goats would fit our needs and have personalities that we would enjoy the most.

After much debate, we decided on the LaMancha goat. For one thing we like American made products and LaManchas are an American breed . They are very hardy, give sweet tasting milk in large quantities, and have very level, sweet temperaments. So we started our little herd, and then we had milk!

Our goat milk soap is handmade from the milk of our little herd of LaMancha goats. We make each batch by hand, using goat milk, palm, coconut, and olive oils, along with various natural fragrances and essential oils. We use only all natural ingredients and form the soap in our homemade wooden molds in small batches. We do not use any synthetic fragrances in our products; only essential oils and herbs, some of them grown right here on our farm. Our process gives us that lovely fresh and wholesome feel and fragrance that we love and the batch size helps us ensure consistent quality. We fell in love with the process (part science, part creativity) and truly enjoy what we are doing. We are very proud of the product we are producing, which really makes us want to share with all of you, and the Silly Goats Soap Company was born! We know you will love it as much as we do.

So there you have it. We are just a God loving family, living in the greatest country in the world “America”, enjoying what we have so graciously been given and wanting to share some of that with all of you. We sincerely hope that you enjoy our goat milk products as much as we enjoy making them.

God Bless,
