Ahora que tengo mi primera tienda, GoldnBeads, en Etsy, decidí abrir una segunda con joyas de plata de ley hechas a mano y vintage, joyas de cuentas de cerámica, joyas de cuentas africanas y otros hermosos artículos vintage que no son joyas.
Caí en la fabricación de las piezas de cuentas africanas este año cuando me convertí en voluntario de Fahodie For Friends. Rescatan, rehabilitan y educan a niños de la trata de personas y la esclavitud en Ghana. Los fundadores son amigos de nuestra familia que viven en Salt Lake City, Utah.
Este verano tuvieron un evento benéfico en Salt Lake para recaudar dinero para una nueva casa de seguridad y clínica médica en Ghana. Hice las joyas de cuentas de Ghana para donar y vender en el beneficio. ¡Me sorprendió cómo vendí $ 650.00 en joyas en 1 1/2 horas!
Esta fue mi inspiración para seguir adelante y abrir una segunda tienda.

Now that I have my first shop, GoldnBeads, on Etsy going I decided to open a second one with sterling silver handmade and vintage jewelry, ceramic bead jewelry, African bead jewelry and other beautiful vintage items that are not jewelry.
I fell into making the African beaded pieces this year when I became a volunteer for Fahodie For Friends. They rescue, rehabilitate and educate children of Human Trafficking and slavery in Ghana. The founders are friends of our family who live in Salt Lake City, Utah.
This summer they had a benefit event in Salt Lake to raise money for a new safe house and medical clinic in Ghana. I made the Ghanaian beaded jewelry to donate and sell at the benefit. I was surprised at how I sold $650.00 worth of jewelry in 1 1/2 hours !
This was my inspiration to keep on going and open a second shop.
