My name is Stephen St.Amant, owner of SilverBirchCeramics. I create handmade wheel thrown functional pottery. I like to think that my artwork can change a daily activity such as drinking coffee, to a ritualistic or ceremonial experience that engages all the senses.

I've been working with clay since the 1980s, and have honed my artistic style over the years. I'm inspired by the fact that I can be held responsible for adding art to someone's daily life for their personal enjoyment. My art comes with a story.
