I absolutely love this ring. It's sturdy and lovely and I'm wearing it right now at work! Esmeralda contacted me very shortly after purchasing about construction times and when it would be shipped. It arrived within the time she said that it would from when it was mailed and made it from Sweden to the states in perfect condition. Thank you! This is exactly the type of ring that I was looking for.

A honeycomb ring all soldered before I apply a few layers of gold to some of the cells. After that I polish, add patina to the silver cells and do the final finishing.

About

Gemstones, metal, and tools

Leaves are what got me into jewelry making and I still enjoy making them. In 2009 I saw a class for metal clay and they had some pictures of silver leaves. I thought: this is what I want! So I took the class, bought the tools and supplies, and got started (and never stopped!).

I am one of those people who needs the right media for their creativity. I have drawn, painted, I took a swing at beading, but the need to be creative never got the right outlet. I thought it just wasn't in me. Turns out that was wrong. I can lose myself sitting at my jewelry bench. Suddenly I look up and hours have passed. It's the best feeling!

I let the nature around me inspire me, and I use materials from my garden and the forest around my house. I live in Sweden but I grew up in the Netherlands, where most areas are heavily populated and most nature is manmade (can still be beautiful!). Here, even the small forest behind our house feels wild, and moose, deer, fox, badgers, squirrels, salamanders and birds frequent the garden.

Besides metal clay I work with traditional metalsmithing, using mainly silver and gemstones, and tools like hammers, saws and files. Collecting gemstones has almost become a separate hobby. I used to collect mineral specimens as a child, and I was so happy to finally have an excuse to buy all sorts of colorful gemstones.

Selling my work on Etsy started as a means to fund a very expensive hobby - during this time I have learnt a lot about online selling, photography, and social media. I am grateful to everyone who has supported my work!

I have my studio in my home on the outskirts of Stockholm, Sweden. I get my inspiration and materials directly from the garden and the surrounding forest - you can't beat nature! :)

Shop policies

Welcome to my shop! I love making jewelry and I hope it shows. :) Besides the items I offer here, I am happy to work with you on special custom designs. Please contact me with details!

I hope you will take the time to read through my policies. Please read the shipping section especially. Shipping in Sweden works differently from the US, and I get a lot of questions about it.

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Visa
  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover
  • Pay with PayPal
  • Buy with Apple Pay
  • Pay with Sofort

Payment
I accept PayPal or credit cards for all payments. As I am based in Sweden, it is impossible for me to accept checks. Most banks here have stopped accepting checks entirely, and electronic payment is the only way to go.

For Swedish and EU transactions I also accept direct bank account transfers - please allow for a little longer time before I send the orders. It takes a few days before the payment is visible on my bank account.
Shipping
**regular shipping**
I use the Swedish National Postal Service for all my shipping, unless speedier shipping is required. I charge only what the Swedish postal service charges me and don't want you to pay anything extra for postage than what it actually costs. The standard shipping time for regular priority mail is 3-4 business days for Europe and 4-6 business days for the rest of the world. On rare occasions shipping can take up to three weeks.

**registered and trackable shipping**
Standard Swedish mail does not allow for tracking, but registered shipping with insurance is possible at extra cost. Express shipping is also usually trackable. Note that tracking is not possible for every country.

**customs fees**
I am happy to ship to any country in the world, however I am not responsible for fees that the custom authorities in your country may possibly charge. It is the responsibility of the customer to know about and pay for any customs fees that may apply to the shipped items.

**Express shipping**
EMS express shipping is possible but expensive.
Rates and shipping time:
Europe: $55 - 2 business days
North America/Middle East $60 - 3 business days
Asia $70 - 5 business days
Rest of the World $80 - 5 business days

*missing or damaged items*
If your items do not arrive or have been damaged I will give you a full refund or will make you a new item (this can be difficult for one of a kind items, but we can work something out!). So far every single package has turned up in the end, and I hope it stays that way. If a package is delayed, I will not refund or replace the item until at least a month after the shipping date.

*Shipping around Christmas*
Swedish Post does not give me any detailed information regarding slower shipping around Christmas, but my experience is that anything ordered after the first week in December is at risk of not arriving in time. Please keep this in mind!
Refunds and Exchanges
I want you to be completely satisfied with your jewelry. If for any reason you are not entirely pleased, please inform me within one week of receipt so we can work something out. Refund requests must be made no later than 10 days from date of purchase. After item is returned in its original condition, a full refund will be issued, minus shipping and handling charges.

Repairs can be made at no additional cost within six months of purchase.

*SIZING AND RESIZING*
Please help me stay sane by providing accurate sizing information. If you're even the smallest bit unsure of your size please ask me for a ring sizer (will send to you at no charge if you order a ring from me) or have your size measured at a local professional jeweler. If this is not done and a ring must be resized/remade it will cost $15 + shipping.
