Hi, thanks for stopping by! Silver Hill Arts Ranch is all about the creative experience of life. I don’t really have a ranch - the name is more about an idea in my head. About the outworking of the dreams I’ve had since childhood of building a place where creative urges could be followed to their conclusion - a place of exploration, experimentation, and expression. A place that would give rise to the inspiration of hope and beauty in others.

I’ve always interacted with my environment in a creative way, whether it be through music, or art or building things, or designing landscapes, or clothing. This store is one reflection of that creative drive - both a way to share some small endeavor with others and hopefully make enough in return to keep on doing it!

I’ve always been attracted to the outdoors and find a great deal of peace, re-centering, solace, and rejuvenation there. These rustic, simple pieces combine that connection with nature and the romance of more simple times.

The pieces here are all made from natural and reclaimed wood - I like to try to use and re-use any materials I find if possible. The square pieces were first old rough cut hardwood lumber that then became re-milled flooring in an old general store, and then ripped up and replaced in a new log cabin, and whose scraps now serve to bring simple messages of love and connection to you.
