Hobby Gone Wild

I was living in New Mexico when I first started making jewelry, so many of my designs have a southwestern influence. I became friends with the owner of a shop in Old Mesilla who made beautiful jewelry. She encouraged me to try it myself, so I credit her with giving my creativity the nudge it needed. Unfortunately for visitors to Mesilla, her husband took a job in Oregon so she had to close her shop to move with him.
When I started making a lot of jewelry, my sister's friend in the area north of Atlanta kindly offered to sell some items in her shop, Touch for Healing. The fact that several pieces sold boosted my confidence.
Then a friend mentioned Etsy....

I am a stay-at-home mom with two small and adorable children, a wonderful husband who doesn't always see eye-to-eye on my interests but doesn't object to my trying them, and one curious cat named Storm. I find jewelry-making fun and relaxing.

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Visa
  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover
  • Pay with PayPal
I only accept payments through PayPal. PayPal accounts are easy to set up and are used by many online stores, however if you do not wish to register it is possible to use PayPal to pay with your credit card by following this link:

By purchasing an item you are committing to pay for it. I expect payment within 3 days. If you do not pay in that time frame, or contact me about special arrangements (sometimes you really, really want it but just don’t have funds until payday), I will use my right to cancel the sale.
I only ship items after I receive your payment.

Although I try my best to ship items out by the next business day please allow 3 business days for shipment. Feel free to tell me if you need your order mailed right away - I will do my utmost to accommodate you.

I ship within the United States via USPS. I ship smaller packages first class mail with delivery confirmation. If you want it sent priority it will cost an additional $2. All necklace sets over $16 are sent priority – with bigger packages, flat rate boxes are easier. Express mail starts at $15. If you need faster shipping send me a convo and I will send you an adjusted invoice. After the payment clears I will send your order.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you have a problem with your order please contact me within 7 days from when you receive it. After that week the sale is final.
You pay for shipping on any returns.
My goal is for you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you have any problems please contact me so we can work something out.
Additional policies and FAQs
I will never give your personal information to anyone.

If you like a ring that is not in your size, convo me BEFORE you purchase it. If I still have the same type of beads I will be happy to make it for you. If you see a necklace or bracelet you like, but want it shortened or lengthened, convo me.

Only the item(s) specifically mentioned in the description are for sale; additional props used in photos are not.

Beads are a choking hazard; do not give jewelry to children who still put things in their mouths. I recommend children be at least 5 years of age, but that may still be too young an age for some children - use your best judgement. I am NOT responsible for the jewelry once it has been delivered to you.

Unles otherwise specified, the turquoise I use comes from China and has likely been stabilized (generally with wax) and dyed. It is a form of turquoise known as chalk turquoise, which is a soft stone prone to crumbling. Learn more here:
