The item is 3d printed plastic. But it looks and feels great. I mounted it onto a plywood dash. Buyer be ware!!! For those getting the open back design. The mini USB on the Arduino can be broken off very easily. As i have broken mine off. I thought this was a total loss but called the seller. He sent me out a new Arduino controller. I must say the customer service was excellent! Even when i was not the nicest because i thought i junked the whole thing. Now awaiting the new controller and will be up and running soon. Thank you!

This is really a nice addition to my sim, it’s high quality nice tactile feel. The switch panel is just like the panel in a real Cessna 172. I recommend this product it you want to up you sim game.
