About

Planter boxes, painted jars, and chalkboard art signs

I first started my shop after my husband finished grad school. He had been a student for 5 years while I stayed home with our little boys. I know what it's like to feel like there is no extra money to spend on yourself. So, when I decided to do something to help payback our student loans, I knew I wanted it to be something that anyone, on any budget, could afford. I love using my hands to create things. Whether it be jewelry, or a wooden shelf, there is something completely satisfying about saying, "I made that myself". I spend most of my days chasing around 4 boys!! When I'm not doing laundry, cooking, chauffeuring, and all the other mom things that consume my day, I find time in the evening to put my hands to use creating things. It relaxes and rejuvenates me. I hope you will like my products as much as I like making them.

I love creating things with my hands. I love the process of taking a piece of wood, cutting it with the saw, hammering the nails, sanding it, hand painting it, and putting the finishing touches to make something surprisingly beautiful.

I am a mother of 4 wonderful boys! I make crafty things to counterbalance the abundance of testosterone in my home. I have been blessed to stay home with our children the many years while my husband went to school. I feel so blessed, that I thought I'd start this shop to help pay back all the student loans we accrued to make that possible.
