Hay demasiadas cosas en esta casa
There Are Too Many Things in This House

There are too many things in this house.
There are too many homes for a mouse.
I just opened the attic door, and things spilled to the floor.
There are too many things in this house.
So PLEASE come on in, and buy for a friend
before I have to evict my spouse!

------------The Reason There Are Too Many Things----------
Fond memories remain of going as a child to my first auction with my grandmother. It was on a two-lane country road in rural West Virginia. We sat in the yard in folding chairs on a warm sunny day, and I loved the whole experience!
This interest in auctions and antiques remained and after marriage I introduced my husband to his first auction. Big MISTAKE! He was instantly hooked and we attended every Saturday for a time - quickly filling the three story Victorian home we bought in 1980.
Even after the house was full, he continued his weekly jaunt to country auctions, always bringing home "bargains" he couldn't resist. I tried to stop him...... to no avail. He went through different phases of purchases: jugs, rockers, tools, oak furniture, and just a wide array of unneeded items.
After thirty-five years of collecting, then downsizing with an auction about fifteen years ago, my latest effort to reduce accumulation is my Etsy shop, SimplifyMyWorld. So I sure hope you find something here that you "need," because he is STILL bringing in treasures.
P.S. I have to admit........there have been other sources, also.
