Why I started Simply Affinity

I have always encouraged others to pursue their dreams and do what they love. I am extremely passionate about gemstones and art and that is why I decided to run my shop full-time after I graduated college! I got married in July of 2018, and decided to start my own online shop after our honeymoon. I worked day & night, and finally have the shop that I have always dreamed of! Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

Returns and exchange details
I want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied, you may contact me within 7 days after your item was delivered to receive a refund. In order to receive a refund, you must return your item. Once I receive your package, I will refund the original purchase cost and original shipping, however, the return shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer.

Georgia residents are subject to 7% sales tax

Sales Tax for Washington State:

Based on applicable tax laws, Etsy will calculate, collect, and remit sales tax for orders shipped to customers in the following state(s): Washington (Effective Date: 01/01/2018)

Sales Tax for Pennsylvania:

Based on applicable tax laws, Etsy will calculate, collect, and remit sales tax for orders shipped to customers in the following state(s): Pennsylvania (Effective Date: 04/01/2018)

Australia:
The Australian government recently passed a new law that will go into effect July 1, 2018 that impacts some orders shipped to Etsy customers in Australia. The new law requires Etsy to collect goods and services tax (GST) on certain goods sold to Australian buyers from overseas up to the value of $1,000 AUD. Etsy will collect tax on these orders shipped to Australia.
Shipping
Please note: All orders come with tracking.Expected delivery dates via USPS are not a guarantee, so please plan accordingly if you need your package by a certain date. I typically ship within 1-2 business days (Monday-Friday), unless stated otherwise in my shop announcement or processing times. My shop is not responsible for packages lost in the mail, but I will do everything in my power to help you retrieve your package.

Please double check your address before placing your order. I am not responsible for incorrect shipping addresses. If you realize that you have entered the incorrect address before I ship your order, I would be happy to manually enter the correct address for you. However, once I have shipped an item I do not have the ability to change the address.


*International Shipping - Shipping anywhere other than to a US address can take 2 - 8 weeks. Your country may charge additional taxes/fees or import duties, and those will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please note: only USPS Priority International Mail will allow me to open a case if your package is lost in the mail. I suggest adding your phone number to international orders in case the postal service needs to get in contact with you. Please do not ask me to mark your international order as a gift or to change the values on your customs form, as this is illegal in the United States.

In order to keep your costs down, I offer calculated shipping so that you will only be charged the amount that postage will cost. You can also contact me for combined shipping options to avoid shipping overages. :)

*Please note: extreme weather conditions and natural disasters can delay packages, or cause them to take an alternative route.

Shipping during the holidays:
I do offer shipping upgrades. Please add 1-2 days for shipping/handling on my end. I am not responsible for packages not delivered on time, so please plan accordingly if you need your item before Christmas. Information on Reserved Items:
I can reserve an item for you for up to 1 week. If your reserve on an item expires before you purchase it, it is now available for anyone to purchase. I cannot renew reserves.Please do not purchase an item that is on reserve for another customer. I will have to refund, and cancel your transaction. Can I reserve an item?

Yes, I can reserve an item for you for up 1 week. Please contact me through Etsy Messaging if you are interested in reserving a piece. I will add the dates that your piece is reserved in the listing description. If your reserve expires before you purchase your piece, it is available to anyone for purchase. Reserves cannot be renewed once they expire.

Does international shipping come with tracking?

Yes, all orders come with a tracking number. However, some countries do not update tracking once a package is out of the United States.
