¿Quieres encontrar esa pieza de joyería que parece ir con todo, pero estás cansado de pasar tu muy poco tiempo libre buscando? ¿Esa pieza que puedes usar de día o de noche y se ve increíble con cada atuendo?
Como mujer ocupada (esposa, madre, mujer de carrera) yo misma, puedo relacionarme totalmente. Soy Rachael, propietaria y diseñadora de Simply Chic Jewelry.
Entiendo lo que se siente al querer esa pieza de joyería simple y elegante para no tener que preocuparme por qué ponerme. Quería encontrar una pieza que combinara a la perfección con cada atuendo; Podría usarlo para trabajar, y luego salir a la noche.
Pero no quería pasar más tiempo buscándolo, así que creé el mío propio. La inspiración de mis diseños proviene de un amor por las líneas simples, elegantes y limpias, con solo un pequeño toque de color. Soy una chica sin lujos, así que quería que mis joyas fueran las mismas.
Mi pasión por la creatividad comenzó cuando era muy joven, crecí alrededor de dos personas importantes en mi vida que siempre usaban sus dos manos para hacer algo. Siempre estuve cerca de ella. A mi abuela le encantaba pintar y hacer manualidades. Mi abuelo trabajaba en su taller de trabajo construyendo pajareras de madera, rompecabezas, etc. Mi abuela los pintaba. Mi abuelo también hacía y vendía palos de golf. Me compró un cuaderno de bocetos de "cómo hacerlo" cuando era niño. Era de los pequeños humanos y criaturas más simples, pero me encantaba sentarme en la mesa del comedor y dibujar con él. No me enteré más tarde hasta que falleció que era dueño de su propia compañía de carpintería llamada Garling Builders. Pensé que solo trabajaba para alguien. ¡No, trabajó para sí mismo! Veo algo de mí mismo en su historia y sé que estaría muy orgulloso de mí.
Nunca dejé de dibujar y mi creatividad creció. Mi amor por la joyería comenzó porque necesitaba una salida creativa de los días estresantes y el dibujo no podía ser suficiente. Empecé a encadenar cuentas para hacer collares y a partir de ahí, me enganché.
No fue hasta 2014 que comencé Simply Chic Jewelry y lo llevé aún más lejos en 2015 estudiando videos de YouTube sobre técnicas de orfebrería. Después de aprender las técnicas básicas, finalmente sentí que podía dar vida a mi visión de joyas elegantes de alta calidad, simples y versátiles. Durante este tiempo, mi carrera también creció y sentí que podía hacer esa pieza "de referencia" que estaba buscando.
Continúo ampliando mis conocimientos para probar y ampliar mis técnicas para poder seguir proporcionando piezas elegantes y versátiles sin sacrificar el aspecto de simplicidad y calidad.

As a busy woman (wife, mom, career-woman) myself, I can totally relate. I'm Rachael, owner and designer of Simply Chic Jewelry.
I understand how it feels to want that "go-to" piece of simple, elegant jewelry so I don't have to worry about what to wear. I wanted to find a piece that seamlessly matches every outfit; I could wear it to work, and then out to date night.
But I didn't want to spend anymore time searching for it, so I created my own. The inspiration from my designs comes from a love of simple, sleek and clean lines, with just a tiny splash of color. I'm a no-frills gal, so I wanted my jewelry to be the same.
My passion for creativity started when I was really young, I grew up around two important people in my life who were always using their two hands to make something. I was always around it. My grandma loved painting and crafting. My grandpa worked in his work shop building wood birdhouses, puzzles etc. My grandma would then paint them. My grandpa also made and sold golf clubs. He bought me a "how to" sketch book as a child. It was of the simplest little humans and creatures but I loved sitting at the dining room table and drawing with him. I didn't find out later until he passed that he owned his own carpentry company called Garling Builders. I thought he just worked for someone. Nope, he worked for himself! I see can some of myself in his story and I know he would be so proud of me.
I never stopped drawing and my creativity grew. My love for jewelry started because needed a creative outlet from stressful days and drawing couldn't suffice. I started stringing beads to make necklaces and from there, I was hooked.
It wasn't until 2014 that I started Simply Chic Jewelry and I took it even futher in 2015 by studying YouTube videos on metalsmithing techniques. After learning the basic techniques, I finally felt like I could bring my vision of high quality, simple and versatile elegant jewelry to life. During this time my career grew as well and I felt like I could make that "go-to" piece that I was searching for.
I continue to further my knowledge to test and expand my techniques so I can continue to provide elegant and versatile pieces without sacrificing the look of simplicity and quality.
