So sorry to hear you had an issue. I've reached out to you through messaging trying to get more details on what fell apart and to help assist you. This is a card stock topper that is one complete piece that is glued to a wooden dowel by a very strong glue. You chose single side so there wasn't a backside to this topper. It is packaged in a sturdy cardboard package to resist any damage during shipping. Any more details you can give would be great.
