Welcome to my little corner of Etsy! I love creating unique, special keepsakes for my amazing customers. Every single piece that is created at Simply M is one-of-a-kind. Handcrafted from start to finish in my studio, each piece is stamped, assembled, packaged, & prayed over by me. It gives me such joy & purpose to create beautiful keepsakes that encourage, inspire, & speak to your soul.

I started Simply M in college to help raise money for my summer mission work around the world. Named after the little M I used to sign my artwork, Simply M was my vessel to do all things crafty--but I never wanted to create jewelry! I graduated and went on to live out my dream of being a kindergarten teacher while crafting in my spare time. About a year before my oldest son was born, God began giving me the desire to create hand-stamped metal jewelry. What I didn't know was that He was preparing me for some hard days to come. My oldest was born and his long list of medical problems began to appear. After months and months of hospital stays, surgeries, and countless appointments, I chose to leave teaching in order to take care of my little man. Thankfully, God was leading me all the while, and Simply M became my way to support my little family in the midst of our mountain of medical bills.

Fast forward to today-- we now have two sweet boys who are medically complex, requiring around-the-clock care. Our oldest is now 6, and our youngest passed away in January of 2019 after two years of a brace battle with their unknown disease. We are also currently expecting another sweet boy in December through embryo adoption! Never in my life did I imagine that I would be a work-at-home, medical mama. But God knew and has orchestrated every part of our life perfectly. I have been so blessed & humbled by my customers who keep asking me to use my hands and metal to create little works of art that speak to them.

As I create each piece, I pray specifically for the customer & recipient. So many of the pieces I make are in honor of loved ones gone too soon, and the opportunity that I have to bless my customers is not lost on me. I am truly honored to create each and every piece that leaves my studio, and I owe all of it to my loving Savior and my amazing customers. Thank you!
