Three cheers for pretty paper!

I gave my first set of hand-made personalized stationery at a wedding shower in 2000. Several ladies at the shower requested some for themselves...and then demand grew quickly. In 2002, Sincerely Yours Paper launched into the high-end wedding industry having earned big fancy publicity for design work with exclusive brides. But the stationery products are what have always been my first love. Pretty monogrammed folded notes, personalized return address stamps, scalloped flat cards, neat calendars...all with timeless simplicity.

Having developed two new brands in 2008 (Swanky Sooie) and 2013 (Euna Mae's), I have stopped designing for brides but I have remained true to classic, old-fashioned, pretty stationery basics.

In the summer of 2012, I designed a personalized state-shaped stamp that caught fire and sold like gang-busters! It has been pinned like crazy, posted on national blogs, and even featured in a major wedding magazine. With the increased exposure and orders through the roof, I added Kelli Dougherty to manage customer inquiries and help fill orders. She is invaluable to the production of SYP!

I am thrilled with every new customer who places an order. And I adore seeing so many of you return to SYP to order over and over again. I appreciate it more than you know!

-PRODUCTION TIME-
{note} Orders may take as long as 3 weeks to produce before shipping. Please message me if you have a special deadline that you're buying for. While I can't make any promises, I will certainly work to meet your specified date! Thanks!

-SHIPPING-
Orders ship via USPS First Class or Priority Mail with tracking information that will be emailed to you when it leaves my studio. Calendars ship Priority Mail with insurance.

-DROP SHIPPING-
While I am glad to drop-ship orders directly to your loved ones and friends, it is IMPERATIVE that you put the drop-ship address in the shipping information during checkout. The shipping label WILL PRINT for the address that pulls up in that screen.

If you would like to purchase multiple items to have drop-shipped to different loved ones or friends, then you must complete SEPARATE INDIVIDUAL ORDERS including the appropriate shipping information with the corresponding order.

*If you would like to include a GIFT MESSAGE in your drop-shipped item, please leave that information in the notes section of the shopping cart.

We do our very best to accommodate drop-shipped orders because we love that you are choosing SYP for your gift-giving occasions! However, because drop-shipping is a complimentary service, orders MUST follow these guidelines for drop-shipping. And SYP cannot be held responsible for drop-shipped orders arriving at the buyer's address rather than the receiver's address if these guidelines are not followed.

-SHIPPING/COMBINED SHIPPING-
Sincerely Yours Paper does everything possible to keep shipping rates low. We check all invoices to confirm the shipping rates, and we refund your account the difference. When in doubt, just put a little note in the message to seller during checkout that says "If you are able, please combine and credit my shipping." We promise to take care of you the best we can!

-NWA CUSTOMERS-
ALL orders ship regardless of location. Deliveries, pick-ups, or other special arrangements are not available. Thanks for understanding.
Refunds and Exchanges
-REFUNDS DUE TO ERROR-
In the event that SYP is responsible for misspelling or making an error on your order; the order will be gladly and promptly re-ordered and sent to you at our cost. It is the responsibility of the customer to check and confirm the personalization before placing the order; orders will not be refunded or replaced due to customer error. It is important to note that color discrepancy from computer screen to actual product is not considered an error on our part.

-CANCELLING AN ORDER-
99% of the items in the SYP etsy shop are customized with personalization and are handmade in nature. You may message the shop to request an order cancellation; and if your order has not been designed or moved into production, your order will gladly be cancelled and refunded. If, however, your order has been moved into production, then it may not be cancelled and refunded. NOTE: Orders may move into production within hours or even minutes of being placed. We will willingly accommodate a cancellation if at all possible.

-DAMAGED ITEMS-
If your package arrives and has been damaged during transit, please take three photographs of the package and attach them to an etsy message. All packages are shipped with insurance and will go through the claims process via the US Postal Service. It is critical that you maintain all packaging and damaged items for insurance purposes.

-PROOFS-
Proofs are available on all personalized items in the SYP store for an $8 fee. Please locate the Design Proof listing and read the details for information about order proofs. While complimentary proofs are not available, $5 of the $8 proof fee will be applied to your order.
Additional policies and FAQs
-PERSONALIZATION-
Because names and monograms are in our area of expertise, we will correct any discrepancy in your personalization if necessary. The most common mistakes are made when submitting plurals of proper names. For instance, if you submit the personalization "The Hannon's" then we will print it "The Hannons" as there is no apostrophe in a plural proper name. If there are any questions that we have prior to printing your order, we will most certainly contact you; otherwise, the correction will be made on your behalf in the name of proper grammar and etiquette.

If we correct your personalization and/or punctuation to make it proper and your item arrives differently than what you submitted, it is NOT considered an error or mistake. And your item is not considered refundable.

-SYP PERPETUAL CALENDARS-
Our calendars are printed on paper and then laminated. They are NOT intended for use with a dry-erase marker but are intended to be framed behind glass. They have been designed in 18x24 and 24x36 sizes in order to fit standard sized frames at your local department or craft store.

Please handle your calendar with care when unpacking and framing as they may dent easily.

{note} Occasionally, tiny bubbles will appear randomly across the dry-erase calendars. These little bubbles are natural to the laminating process and should not be considered faulty or unusable. Creasing or large bubbles that disturb the ability to write on the calendar are considered faulty and will most definitely result in a new calendar produced and shipped to you at no cost. Please be certain to take several good photos of the defects to include in your message to me.

-CLEANING YOUR SYP STAMP-
In order to maintain the quality of your stamp, regular cleaning is recommended. In order to clean your stamp, dab off all the ink on a dry paper towel after each use. Then dab it on a damp paper towel until it dabs clear. Allow it to air dry.

-SYP MELAMINEWARE-
Melamine is the hard, durable, virtually indestructible plastic that is BPA-free {Think cafeteria tray sturdy!} The color and clarity is vibrant and has proven to be very pleasing! It is natural to the process of making custom melamine-ware that tiny creases may appear around the very edge. They often go unnoticed. The natural creasing does not qualify melamine for a refund.

{note} Melamine-ware is not microwave friendly.
