This cakestand is very special. If it looks very unique & elegant it's because the seller brought two unrelated antique objects & glued them together. In art, this is called an assemblage. This seller is an artist as far as I'm concerned. Bravo! ... also I must mention the extrememely good packaging. It's efficient & smart packaging. Protective in a well thought out way. Using various materials , such as a thick sponge band to protect the rim of the plate & other materials like bubble wrap & foam sheets to wrap the item. It really looked like something wrapped by professional movers for a museum or gallery. Once again, Bravo!
