The story of SixElevenCreations

Welcome and thanks for your interest in SixElevenCreations! I'm Sherrina and I wear all the hats - designer, maker, photographer, marketing and social media executive (there's bound to be something else I'm in charge of if I spend a bit more time thinking about this). Each order is designed, packed and dispatched by me but I do get some invaluable help from friends when things get hectic - they are paid with tea and biscuits - I think I get the better end of the deal...

To ensure the best quality and consistency in printing, the majority of my products are externally printed by a small printing company locally in the UK.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders

Returns and exchange details
Returns
- You have 14 days from the date you received your order to notify us that you wish to return it.
- If you change your mind, or the product you received is not what you expected, please contact us before returning the item.
- Note that the colour of a product may vary between computer screens and the physical item. A slight variation in colour isn't considered a faulty or damaged item.
- Unless arrangements are made with us, you cover the cost of the return.
- If your order is returned in perfect condition - still in any packaging - then we will provide a refund of the full cost, including any original shipping costs of standard delivery (but not the costs of returning the item as per earlier point).
- We reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund if items are non-saleable.
- Please note that personalised products cannot be returned.

Instructions for returning goods
- If you wish to make a return, send us a message through Etsy containing your order number and a specification of which items that the return relates to.
- You have a further 16 days following the end of the 14 day cancellation period to return the item to us.
- You are responsible for any damage incurred by items during the return shipment. We therefore strongly recommend that you send the products well packaged, in good condition and in their original packaging.
- If possible, please provide us with a tracking number for the return shipment.
- If a returned item is shipped internationally, mark as "RETURNED GOODS" to avoid any Customs charges. We are not responsible for any charges imposed on packages returned by Customs.
- If the product or packaging is used or damaged, we reserve the right to deduct any depreciation in value when refunding the product.

Your satisfaction is our priority so we would very much appreciate if you contact us before posting a review if you are not satisfied with our service. Leaving feedback without first contacting us directly can be counter productive and it would be much better for both parties if we can try to resolve any issues via direct communication.

Orders are shipped within 1-2 working days of receiving payment. Orders placed after 11am will normally be processed on the following working day. We use the Royal Mail First Class service for UK orders (except for sale items which are shipped via Royal Mail Second Class) and the International Standard service for non-UK orders. All these services are completely untracked services, so we will not be able to provide updates on the whereabouts of your order.

Royal Mail estimated delivery times from date of posting are:
Within the UK First Class - 1 to 2 working days
Within the UK Second Class - 2 to 3 working days
To Europe - 3 to 5 working days **
To the Rest of the World - 6 to 7 working days **

If we are on holiday, we may still accept orders but we will always let you know in our shop announcement when shipping will resume.

We will always send an email to confirm we have dispatched your order. We ship to the delivery address specified in your Etsy order. Please note we cannot be held responsible for incorrect or incomplete addresses provided – it is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure these details are accurate and complete.

Please be aware of any postal strikes or delays in your locality. Delays can also be due to how long the postal service in your country holds an item at customs for inspection. We cannot be held responsible for late delivery or non-delivery of orders. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer refunds if orders arrive outside of the estimated delivery timeframe, as this is outside of our control. If an order has arrived too late to be used, you are welcome to return it – please follow the steps outlined in the Returns section or contact us for more information.

Please do allow time (the full estimated delivery timeframe) for your order to be delivered. If your order has still not arrived by the end of the estimated delivery date range for your order then please do contact us. Even at this time, it is likely that your order is just delayed and is still making its way to you. Please note that Royal Mail only considers mail lost if it has not been delivered within 11 working days (UK), 27 working days (EU) and 32 working days (everywhere else).

Any customs charges incurred are the sole responsibility of the customer, and the onus is on the customer to check any relevant customs charges, tax or duty, which may be payable in their own country before placing an order. By placing an order, you are agreeing to this policy. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for delayed or destroyed packages by Customs Officials.

Sustainability

We care about the planet very much.
- Our greeting cards are printed on FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) Certified card stock which simply means that our card comes from responsibly managed forests
- All of our envelopes are made from either recycled paper or FSC Certified materials
- The majority of our cards are sent "naked" with no single-use plastic.
- Personalised cards are sent in compostable and biodegradable cellophane bags for extra protection, but we would be happy to send these out "naked" if requested
- All of our products are printed here in the UK and the printing company we work with is an FSC Certified company

Sending a card directly to the recipient

We would be delighted to send your card directly to its recipient. All you have to do is choose the "Yes - Send To Them" option in the drop down menu when purchasing your card and include your message in the "Add Your Personalisation" text box. We will print your message inside the card. Don't forget to enter the recipient's name and shipping details when checking out!

Quality of paper (GSM)

You might have noticed references to GSM in the product descriptions and wondered what GSM means. GSM stands for Grams per Square Meter and the higher the GSM number, the heavier and thicker the paper. All our greeting cards and wall prints are printed on 300 GSM FSC-certified card stock. To give you an idea of the quality of paper we use, standard A4 printing paper which you might be familiar with is 80 GSM.
