About

Fleece Addict turns Fiber Pusher

Hello, I'm Daphne, and I'm a fiber addict. I've been a spinner and knitter for over 12 years. I taught myself to knit, joined a guild, met some spinners and turned down the dark spiral into fiber arts. :) I soon became addicted to raw fleece. You know, the kind that leaves a sticky residue on your hands? I couldn't stop buying it. The feel, the smell, the woolliness! That was just the gateway wool. Soon I wanted more. I wanted the processed fiber, the braids, the yarn, the batts. I needed pretty bling to make my fiber even better looking! I needed special bags to put it in. I started buying by the kilo! :) Now I want to share all that fiber with YOU! Yes you! Come over here. Wanna buy some Organic Polwarth? I can get you some 15.5 micron Merino! Or maybe you prefer silk hankies? Whatever your fiber pleasure is, I hope I can become a special stop for YOUR fiber addiction. But if you ever need a sponsor, don't ask me. I haven't found a 12 step program that works yet! ;)

I'm a work-at-home mom of one awesome little man. I love to spin, knit and dye. I also have a nasty habit of buying more fleece than I could possibly use in a lifetime, so I've decided to justify that habit by sharing it with others. :)

Welcome to SixFingeredKitty Fiber Arts. I am a spinner, knitter, dyer and lover of all things fleecy! My shop will be updated at least bi-weekly with new offerings. I do my best to produce items that will both spin and knit beautifully. My shop name comes from my love of polydactyl cats. I currently own two, one of which has six toes!

Additional policies and FAQs
All fibers and yarns come from a pet-friendly, but non-smoking home. I dye several different fibers, so please ask if you have questions regarding allergies. I do not let the cats around fibers or finished products.
